I wouldn't go there, it could be dangerous. So far, there have been no answers and this has been going on for several days. Someone better figure out whether or not it is dangerous to be around the area and post warnings.

My son and mom went there while he was visiting, and this was their lake they like to visit to get away. However, they were shocked to see that the entire lake's fish have all but dies, either floating on top of the water, or on the ground. It's disgusting, and no one seems to know anything other than a mention of H2S gas. I am surprised nothing has been done because that particular gas is highly toxic. Surely they have been testing the water, right?

Kingfisherpress.net explains it as the following: "A NATURAL ALGAE BLOOM at Lake Elmer was responsible for the overwhelming number of dead fish noted by many observers. Some readers called or emailed with concerns that the kill was the result of some manmade toxic incident. This picture was one of many posted at huntandfishfinders.com . See the Sunday, Aug. 16, Times and Free Press print edition for the full story."
