Just a quick comment and a short story from my recent adventures in trying to register to vote.
Although I have my issues with democrats in general and disagree with most of their positions, at least most democrats are honest about their positions.
Do you think you can trust someone who would disgard their party and principals to win an election? What is more important to this guy, his principals or his new government job? If he was willing to do such a thing, why is that so?
This is the guy who wants us to trust him with our elections? Why should we? We know he has betrayed one group of people who trusted him already.
Now for my recent story.
According to the utah voting website vote.utah.gov we can register to vote in person here in park city only at our county health department. I went there to register to vote and the nice people there looked at me like i was from outer space, they had never heard of such a thing. They were very helpful and directed me to city hall. I arrived at city hall and was told that the lady in charge of local elections was off that day (a monday) but another lady at the office was very helpful and helped me by calling the county office and faxing my voter registration card to the county office.
While this may seem normal to some, where i grew up in michigan we register to vote at the post office when we register for the draft. It seemed to work out well and made it much easier to participate in the election process.
I have spoken to Mr. Motto about this and he wants to make voter registration more accessable to all residents.
Many of our local hispanic population is totaly disenfranchised just because they do not know how to get thru all the hurdles in their way.
So when Mr. Jones says "There is no second place here. We don't get a chance to do things over. On Election Day, we don't go out hoping that we'll have a successful election. We put so many hours in ahead of time," Jones said. "We're out there to prove that we have already been able to evaluate the situation and think of what the potential issues may be and eliminate them or reduce them. We have one goal in mind and that is to know that the outcome is going to be a positive outcome."
Why don't we vote that this will be true of all of our citizens not just the ones willing to overlook his innate dishonesty on his positions.
I personally fully support Mr. Motto, he is an honest person, he stands by his beliefs, and while i may not agree with all of his positions, I trust him to do exactly what he says he will do and remain true to his core beliefs. I think we all can respect a man who will not lie to win.

Once again this is an example of the curruption in Summit Country. Did the Personel Direct Belamy hire more relatives or church memberss to run the systems. I suspect yes. He protect his friends, relatives, and church members when complaints are filed. I tried to research tax records to make a good low bid on a foreclosure property and the tax records are a joke. After living here for over 20 years and personally witnessing the inept, incompentant, and CORRUPT(bias) behavior of Country employees and elected offciais this is not suprise. This Country really needs the Federal government to investigage since our State officials have turned a blind eye as usually. And this bunch we have in now are just lining their pockets. How many are richer now then the day they were elected. I believe all of them. Too bad the usuless PR won't do a story on that!
