Even though Dan Boren claims to be a conservative, he has voted to put Pelosi as speaker three times and I don't want him to do it again.

CT was not my choice in the primary but I will vote for him over psuedo blue dog Dan Boren because Dan says one thing then does another.

People just are not paying attention to his votes, he does not hold open town hall meetings, but does conference calls instead with pre submitted questions. When you write him via his web mail his staff sends an auto response depending on what you enter in the subject line.

He has voted with Nancy Pelosi more than 90% of the time since 2007, and voted for her to be the House Speaker three times. He has also pledged his support for her again IF Democrats keep the majority in the U.S. HOUSE

A first term congressman has little clout. What I look at is "the majority party chairs the committees and sets the agenda"

As "conservative" as Dan Boren claims to be, he has a D after his name, and that means if the Democrats have the majority, it will be the Democrat agenda of big government, second amendment assaults, amnesty for illegal aliens, and taxpayer funded abortion on demand (among other things) that gets pushed.

“Boren’s refusal to debate Dr. Charles Thompson is one more example of Oklahoma Democratic candidates’ ducking and running this election cycle. Voters in the 2nd District deserve to hear from these two party nominees. Unfortunately, Dan Boren doesn’t want to answer questions about his voting record.

Some may remember the gal from NE Oklahoma who entered the D2 Primary last spring, Miki Booth. She challenged Dan to a shooting match and reported that he did not even respond to her.
