We are cleaning up Hendersonville. The people in Hendersonville will report any suspious activities.
If you want to remain anonymous. All you have to do is text "CRIMES" (274637) and put keyword as "TIPHPD". This is a great way to clean up Hendersonville. The service also allows for two-way communication between officers and residents while maintaining anonymity. As tips are submitted to the HPD via text, the messages appears on a computer program monitored by officers, at which time detectives take the information and follow up on leads. The agency will also offer rewards for tips leading to arrests and convictions for various local crimes. This service works great. Thanks

There is a bunch a them running around. Kids will do just about anything these days to get out of their own trouble. They don't end up doing jail time by the time they tell everything they know. How will they ever learn a lesson?

There's a difference between keeping our city safe and harassment. I think they go a bit to far.

You must like living in a police state. I can't go home without seeing someboody pulled over and usually TWO cop cars at the stop. It borders on harrassment and don't kid yourself, it's all about revenue. As soon as I can move, I will.

These posts are funny! Hendersonville is a great place to live that's for sure, but yes the police dept. is a joke. Revenue isn't the issue with them, it's the fact that they employ a TON of young cocky fools who obviously have no idea how to treat normal people. I'm a huge proponent of police presence because it's needed for the good of the community, but if you can't treat a person with respect (even if they have committed a crime) then you have no business in community service.
