Caraker running for second term on council

I just read the most incredible item in today's paper. After three years of blocking all efforts to enact a new anti-cruelty ordinance, and doing absolutely nothing to stop animal suffering in Hendersonville, Steve Caraker announced his campaign for re-election, and cited his work on the anti-tethering ordinance as a reason to vote for him. Take it from a person who knows the facts behind this story, the new wording Caraker supports is possibly even more dangerous than the existing ordinance, and virtually unenforceable. Do not re-elect Caraker based on his work to stop animal cruelty. He hasn't.
