If someone has broken a law and if the police know about it and if a warrant has been issued to bring certain thieves to justice so they can not keep stolen items and or money they got by selling those items
Why does it take weeks if not months to serve those warrants when the know where the couple lives and where the woman works?
Even if they do leave the house and travel some it seems weeks and months is to long to wait when there is no doubt of guilt and the goods were valued at well over a thousand dollars. Just a question. Will police try to find these people or wait until they try to renew drivers licences or car tags or what.

They are not going to try real hard. I know someone that has been arrested multiple times for stolen items $1000 or more and they didn't even show up for court. Warrants were issued but they never bothered to serve them.

You are incorrect on your assessment of Asheville. Asheville is a wonderful city with a diversified population. I don't think you have every visited Charlotte if you think Asheville is a mini city as Charlotte. Yes, we do have radical liberal, gays, hippies and the homeless. Please tell me where you are going to move without all types of people?
If you do not like the downtown area you can drive 10 miles or less and have wonderful views of the mountains and live a great neighborhood. I know that I live 15 minutes outside of Asheville and I have beautiful views of the mountains, wonderful neighbor (native/transplants) and each and everyone has so much to offer to the neighbor. We as neighbor look out for each other. We have neighborhood parties and enjoy each other companies. We go downtown frequently to listen to music and eat in the dining establishment.
Great Post! Nice to know there is intelligent life on here!

I think that your description of Asheville is extremely exaggerated. I have been to Asheville more tomes than I can count. I live just north of Cashiers, NC. There are a tons of hippies, yes...but there are no stoners passed out on the street. I have yet to see a homeless man begging for money and I used to live in South Florida. THEY'RE ON EVERY CORNER THERE! Also you are saying that gays are "freaks"? B!itch you need to get out more, if you don't believe in marriage equality for all then I shouldn't be paying for your damn birth control...the fact that you don't see us as people is astonishing and makes me begin to loose hope that people are loosing there humanity.
Sounds like Ashley could be a bible-thumpin' hillbilly.

I despise living in the western NC mtns.(Newland, Linville area). The only jobs here are seasonal, but you can't afford to buy land or homes here, the working man/woman can't survive up here! Everything is catered toward the tourists/summer home people! The hospital in Linville(Cannon Memorial) is a complete joke that charges outragously!! A friend went to the ER twice for kidney stones...$5000! I had a slight heartattack and they sent me home(said i had Plurasy)! The county commissioners are a joke! And the sherriffs dept...we wont even go there!!!

You folks got a nice place down there. A little too much rain but if you can dodge Pigeon Forge on the way down it is a good trip. Best to all you Western Carolina folks. If you want to really love your area ..come spend a week around Chicago. See you around Halloween I promise to lay low.
