He should at least get his hunting license taken away and possibly no longer be able to have guns.

Lifetime banned from hunting and 5 years in Prison and pay his family compensation for life. No excuse for shooting someone for not wearing orange, The Jury should be ashamed of themselves.

You should be ashamed of yourself. It was an accident, you know those things that happen everyday... A guy hits a man walking along side the road at night and kills him because he was wearing black, and doesn't even get charged. Now whats the difference? At night people know its not safe to wear dark clothing walking on the road, knowing they are greatly raising there chances of some accident happening. He did everything he could to identify his target, does it make the death any less tragic... absolutely not, what it does make it is a accident. He will stand in front of God one day and it is only his job to judge NOT OURS. this country is so so hardened and it makes me so sad

While we are on Earth it is our right to judge and you are comparing apples to oranges. I was being nice, he should got a lot worse than I was stating. He did the very least to identify his target. Are a relative.

I am an avid hunter, there is no excuse for not correctly identifying your target. If you cannot 100% without question identify what you are about to shoot you do not pull the trigger. It is as simple as that.
