I bought a swimming pool from Walmart Henderson in April, the pump just quit on me a few days ago. I called our local store and told them and they said bring the pump in and they'd replace it because it's under the 180 day warranty....well I take it in and they say we don't have another one in store so call the other Walmarts and see if they have one...they DON'T! So I call and get another manager and he says i'll get on my computer and look it up and see where one is and call you back (still waiting) he didn't call me so I called them back, they decided they'd give me a gift card with $60.44 on it to go online and buy a new one off of walmart.com .....they don't sell them there! So I refused the card. Now they are telling me take it up with the pool company it's not really their problem! The pool clearly says WALMART.COM on the box...it's a Walmart product. The reason for this post is to let you all know Walmart doesn't back up their products, doesn't care about customer satisfaction and won't help you with the problems you have with what you buy there! I have a few calls in to the distribution center and the 1800# but as of now, I have a $150 uselsee pool in my backyard! So if you're considering buying one....go to another store!

Oh that is a common problem with the blue intex pools...I spent $400 on mine I guess it's bigger thats not the point, I have three pumps sitting next to the pool that is on the green side lol. These pumps don't last and are around $100 to replace. I honestly want to run my 4x4 truck in the side of pool and toss it in dumpster. It's been nothing but trouble for the last three years.I will not be buying another one next year we plan on building and hopefully will have an inground pool. Good luck and if you find a pump somewhere go ahead and buy two or three....your gonna need them!

lol...yeah i am with you on running over it, i was tempted to burn it down the other night. i'm just going to take it back and get my money back on it, cause it's not worth all the trouble. my kids are 5 & 7 and perfectly happy having a wading pool and slip n slide...so that's what i'm going to do!:)

The house I moved into has a pump and pool still in the box out in the shed. If someone wants it you can come get it. Im sure its used, but cheaper than buying a new one.

Do not buy the intex pools from walmart or intex products at all these company's are a rip off non of these companies stand behind products anymore go in just call a local pool company I would even now pay 1200-1500 hundred dollars to put a real pool in I'm making the call today weve had our crappy pool 05/31/12 something small just for the kids and I to experienced the same problem the pump on the pool went out purchased it at walmart also bought the warranty got the run around from intex, walmart, & poly group. You won't be able to reach anyone on either ends the numbers for poly group is bogus and intex says you will have to call poly group pure BS I'm writting a letter to all 3 companies to let them know I will never do business and I will repetively post on all websites since ive wasted soo much time trying to get help. Won't buy electronics nothing I will try not to ever step into another walmart?!?!?!

We had to get some chemicals to help with the color but otherwise it is perfect. A little trouble with setup but mostly because the ground was uneven.
But the water has been really clear despite all of my daughter's hair that gets caught in the filter. Yuck.
I was more concerned of the safety of it but so far I haven't been able to find any complaints. My cousin said hers exploded and her husband was stuck under the ladder but she noticed the day before that the pool was lopsided. I would say to make sure it looks ok before anyone goes in it.

I been purchasing these pools for over ten years, with no problems, I keep buying bigger as kids grow every several years. I purchased one last year, had a small leak, but didn't want to take it down cause it was already full, so this I took it back to Walmart after a year of usage, they didn't have the size available any longer, the manager took it back and gave me an upgrade free of cost to me. $120.00 difference, and apologized for my inconvenience. So not all Walmarts are bad, infact I've never had issues at any Walmart ever, your attitude makes a difference on how you are received.
