Oh, and by the way, YES I have read all of those books myself and I in NO way took anything out of context..... MCCAIN/PALIN...ALL THE WAY.....to heck with that other guy.....:)

Stacy, you're a perfect example of what I said earlier about the raciest card. I don't think anybody here has said ONE word about skin color except you!!!!! Please, let's not make this election about color. I, for one am tired of having the racist card played. God help us all if Obama is elected president, and we have to hear about color for the next 4 years.

Another thing, Stacy, I can guarn-dam-tee you that Obama isn't a Christian!!!!! He might have a lot of charm and have the gift for gab, but he's a snake in the grass!!!! And unfortunately for the USA, he probably will be our next president. I think I'll move to Australia. I'll fell a lot safer there!!! And I won't be taxed into poverty.

And one more thing before I call it a night. Maybe he won't live another year. Well guess what, you or I may not either. And if he doesn't, then Palin will do just fine as president. She runs a household better than any else can seem to run a country. I think she knows how to cut corners and save a buck. And one thing,,,,,, I like the dice too!!!!! Does that make me a bad person????? And please, don't hesitate to reply to my comments.

Can a white person play the race card?!! lol I was responding to someone earlier that said that we don't need someone "LIKE HIM" in the Whitehouse. That just doesn't pass the smell test, does it? Like Him?? Disagree with his policies, dislike him because he's a democrat, don't like his personality, but "LIKE HIM".

C'mon!!!

I can cut corners and run a house too. I can bake a heck of a chocolate cake. I can't field dress a moose, but I can shoot skeet. The only dice I like is in Monopoly, but liking dice does not make you a bad person. I dare say that neither you nor I have any business being the head honcho of the free world!!

Surely I am allowed to NOT like John McCain. I just do not like him. Whether I vote for Obama or whether I write in Huckabee is none of anyone's business, but I will not vote for the ol' white guy. Like I told a friend of mine, I'd be more likely to write in Dick Cheney!

Stacy,
I think you are wrong about extreme conservatives loving McCain. Thats the wing of the party he has the most trouble with. But it's no big deal, I think I know what you mean.
It sounds as if you are at "I'll hold my nose and vote for him anyway." Thats what I was going to do, now I dunno.

Anyway, you and I have been remarking about his smile for some time, now. And womanizing? Does it make you unfit to be the leader of the free world?
Who ever said Kennedy and Clinton were all that great? What did they accomplish?
To tell you the truth, I'm about to conclude its the rare politician who ISN"T a womanizer... must be something in their makeup.

To be a successful womanizer, one must be a successful liar. Lying may be a useful skill for the leader of the free world, but that doesn't warm me up to liars, regardless.
And temper? The type of temper McCain displays is precisely the type of blowhard mentality that generally creates deep antipathy in me. I think it's bullying, and I can't stand people who engage in it to get their way.

No, I think the country has had it with old white guys chanting the same old mantra. Which is hurtful to me because, well, I'm an old angry whte man.
I think socialism is a ...really bad idea, not because the child in me doesn't want my mommy, but because it JUST DOESN"T WORK.
I support the 2nd amendment, because I don't trust politicians that don't want me to have a gun.
We don't allow creeping socialism in this country because we are good, we allow it because we don't want a revolution.

The American people have been pushed, and pushed, and they are mad, and they are about to make a bad choice, because, once again, we are stuck with voting for the lesser of two evils.

You make me laugh...and YOU do have me figured out, seems as though nobody else understands what I am saying. I am 100% with you about his temper. The smile....look beyond it. Other than Pelosi, his smile scares me more than anything. LOL

I also agree that most are probably womanizers, so we must conclude that Obama is not,(yet) or he's a good liar, right? LOL If they are not womanizers they are messin' around with the male pages. Yikes!! That's another subject altogether!

You, an angry, ol white guy. I don't believe it!

Have a great Saturday. It's nippy in Wisconsin this AM. Feels like Fall for sure.

While I would agree with you to a point, Bush is not without blame. He has made many blunders; I personally believe many of them due to those he chose as advisers. For example, look at Paulson, an estimated worth of 700 million dollars. No way he has the average citizen's interest in mind. All he wants to do is take care of his buddies. Does Bush not have veto power? We definitely need to clean Congress out. I'll do my part in that in voting against Cornyn. When Hutchison runs for office again, be it Senate or Governor, I'll remember her too. Gohmert stood up for East TX in the bail out, so I may give him a pass.
The truth to BUSH lies in the movie "W". It is exactly true from start to finish and folks we are finished......The rich get richer and all the ones in debt will starveto death.......

I'm still not finished with this Rolling Stone article. lol

I can't wait to see Meet The Press tomorrow. They are saying Colin Powell may endorse Obama. Won't that be a kick in the shorts to "W"?

Why would that surprise anyone? Something like 93%(or more) of blacks will vote for Obama. Oh, and most because he is black. And they like his spreading the wealth idea. Yet someone says they don't like his kind or such is labeled a racist. There are plenty of things to not like about his kind without ever getting to his skin color.

Colin Powell was hung out to dry in front of the world by the Bush administration. I wouldn't think he has forgotten that.
