Never! When the time comes, they will figure things out on their own. Don't crush their dreams. Kids need something good to believe in this crazy world.

I figured out that my parents were Santa Claus at an early age, but I pretended to still believe in him for several years so that I would keep getting all those presents. In this day and age, with the internet and all of the information on there, I have a hard time believing that an 8 year old still believes in Santa. She may be faking it like I did.

Grant it she tells me things like I already asked Santa I wanted this toy and I asked her how she asked Santa for it when she hasn't seen him yet and she said well I ask him like I talk to God in my mind.

almost 8? How mature can she be? Is she driving a car yet? Is she dating? Is she pregnant? She is 7 you stupid shit! She's a kid!!!! Let her believe as long as she wants too! I would punch you in the face if you were in front of me right now for being STUPID!
I just reported your comment. I hope it gets deleted but probably not...we will see. I think getting in on a conversation about this person asking peoples opinions about their daughter and Santa isn't for bullys to get on here threatening to punch them in the face. Go troll somewhere else your not wanted here.

I thought Obama was santa Claus, He is going to make sure everyone gets free everything as long as they keep voting for him. It wont cost anyone a thing except for the EVIL RICH PEOPLE! You know, the ones that own all of the companies that hire all of us middle class people. People that believe in Obama are like kids that never grew up and still believe in Santa... naive and stupid.

I'm pretty sure she, at not quite 8 yrs old is already more mature than you are. You obviously never learned the lesson that "freedom of speech" also brings with it the responsibility to speak within the codes of decency.

My kids are 3-23 (biological, step, and adopted)and there are alot of them. I have never said "there is no Santa" I have always said Santa is the majic of Christmas. So even when they were old enough and one of them has their own child, we have never talked about it not being real. They all still have stockings and all expect something to be in them on Christmas morning! It's the Christmas Spirit that counts!! And knowing the real reason is Jesus!

My daughter asked me when she was in about 5th or 6th grade. All I said was that Santa stops coming when we stop believing in him. She's in her mid-20s now and if you ask her, she'll tell you she still believes

Children come to the truth on their own or sadly the help of an older sibling. Don't ruin it for them.?

My daughter is 8 and still believes. Never tell them until they figure it out on their own.
