Go to Ted's Sawshop in Clayton. The best by far I have ever used. Most of the time they can repair while you wait and is very cheap with top quality work
no kidding

you better get an estimate or they will tell you. Oh yea we fixed it. It needed a new motor, carb,or something else. Every time! I will never go back except for replacement items.

Got mine fixed today at Ted's Saw Shop. He fixed it with me watching and fixed it right. Didn't cost me a arm and leg either. Got my business from here on out.

Do NOT go to J&B on 79. Horrible customer service, just looking to screw you. The mechanic is nothing more than an entitled, asshole who thinks he knows it all, when in fact, he's just a complete moron. I will never go back there again. They tell you something is fixed but I've had more problems since I took it there.

yes go to Atwood's... they have no service department.. they do not go to the schools to be service technicians and no sthil dealer will work in equipment bought from them!!! better go where the certified techs are!!

Just because you buy it at Atwood's doesn't mean you can't get it serviced. You can certainly get it servived in Carthage, Longview or Kilgore. I have found out that just cause a person went to a Stihl school does not make him a good Stihl technician. Any reputable dealer will work on Stihl equipment no matter where you purchase it from.

with the new saws if you're not a certified tech and have the training you can't work on the saws... they now have electric adjusting carbs!! I found out the hard way! just a reg small engine mechanic cannot work on the because they don't have the computer software to do so! its sold only to stihl dealers! the one here in town is a gold certified dealer meaning they have a top trained mechanic to work on the equipment! I've checked for myself and the gold certification is top level training!!

They are an authorized dealer! They have the lowest level training available! Do your homework... There is only one gold level certified dealer in Henderson!
