I ate there the weekend that the food poisoning occured - I did not get sick however the cooks need some serious training. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and received a chicken salad sandwich on grilled bread... everyone knows you dont grill a mayonnaise based salad spread...I didn't eat it and will not go back after hearing the food poisoning incidents...

The health dep keeps big star open! Why would they shut down the saw meal???? If all the people who got sick really wanted the saw meal to close down don't you think there would be a big fuss from them???
There is legal action pending from these folks!

jested! Thats whats wrong with this town!!! Stupidity
Before you pass judgement on our town....

Do you not realize most of the folks in Henderson know the Harris's, Coach, and the others who got sick at this restaurant?

Do you not realize that some of the nurses who took care of these people in the hospital are from Henderson and knew the people who were sick and knew where they ate?

Do you not realize that the Tennessee Public Health official who ordered the four inspections of this restaurant immediately after this Salmonella outbreak had been identified is from Henderson?

You only make yourself look more foolish to continue to deny this happened, when an entire town knows the truth - to call us stupid does not help your cause, or make people want to eat at your restaurant.

You need to man up, tell the truth, and get right with God.

There were food poisoning cases that came from a bad batch of BBQ that was served to the Chester County football team and coaches. The coach was actually hospitalized over it. That is why they are letting the football team eat there for free this season. To try and save face. I will not be eating there.

"Concerned Diner" That is not true and you know it. The Adamsville location has done this every year for there football team. When the Henderson location opened, they were willing to do the same thing for the Chester County team.

i've eaten lunch there the last two weeks with no problems. most of the staff have been very friendly, and our servors have been great. our food has been delicious, hot, and very fair priced. the sweet tea is country sweet and the girls are easy to look at as well. so far im finding the sawmeal a welcome to henderson. thanks for your service, see ya soon.

I would much rather piggly wiggly go though. All of the meat, besides the whole chicken..made my family sick. At first we thought we had a virus, when shopping again the next week and cooked and it was the same thing! I went to save a lot and the meat was amazing! Well the ground beef anyways, that's all we tried. Piggly is gross!

Shitty overpriced food, I'll pass.
They just need to shut that place down or drop the prices.

Yea, a total rip-off when two people, one a senior citizen, eat only off the salad bar and have a glass of tea each, then the bill is over $15.00. Service was terrible and selection on the salad bar was far from being great. First time there and will be my last!!!

Well, that didn't last long. Never even got to try it. I can say that Greens, Beans and Taters is friggin' nasty. That place is unworthy of any business.
