It is very beautiful but I wasn't impressed with the menu. There wasn't a lot to choose from and little that there is was overpriced. I ordered a side salad to start with and it was horrible. The lettuce seemed like it had been sitting out all day and it was soooo small that I don't think it was any bigger than my palm. I was expecting it to b so much better. Though the service we had was very nice and polite. I might go back if I hear they get more choices on the menu and better salads :)

The great thing about Bessos is that everything is made from scratch. Even the coffee is roosted fresh. I know the cook he used to work at old town spaghetti store. A lot of their stuff they just take off a cisco truck. Just like a dinner in the frozen food section and doctored it up. When you do this there is not a lot of prep or work involved in producing the food - that why so many things can be offered on the menu and also for a lower price. Being one that used to work at a restaurant after college and attending food distributor meets - this is how a good many restraints do it. There are plenty of restaurant that function this way so if large volume cheep food is a priority I recommend chedders - they fit the bill perfectly. There is nothing more Italian than food made fro me scratch with fresh ingredients.
Loves it

If it's not good, it don't matter if its made from scratch or not. Been once, won't return!

Bessos advertisement in the VIP stated that the "best restaurant in Jackson is in Henderson" and it looks like the judges at the march of dimes food show agree. The bread pudding with gelato and warm salty caramel was over the top. Bravo Bessos. The meatballs are the best. Can't wait to eat there.

Yes, it is right down the road from Dwain Seaton. Next door to Moss Miller. I've never had, but wanted to try it. Heard the food was good, but they had a VERY limited menu and was overpriced.

Ate there. Was not impressed. Limited menu. Way over priced whether it's from scratch of not. The portion size was so small it was more like a kids meal. If anyone thinks this is true Italian they're smoking something and it ain't the coffee beans. Just because you have some fancy bread and throw some type of meat and suace on it doesn't make it Italian. Sounds like some folks haven't been away from McDonalds to long and they discovered something different and they think it's great. I wouldn't even say Besso's is above McDonalds. Seriously people. A half of a piece of bread about 6" long (just the bottom piece of bread, no top) with about 2oz of pork and a 1/4 cup of cole slaw for $7.50. Might have cost them a whole $1 to produce. Really!!!! People who think Besso's is great need to get out more often.

Have you been to Italy? I have several times. The margarita pizza could not be closer what you get in Naples. In fact the guy who makes the pizza whet to Naples to learn how to make it. You may have ordered something which you did not like. Being that I have been to Italy several times I consider myself a pretty good judge of the food and I have really enjoyed it. Mcdonalds may be more your style.
