More proof of Police Abuse of Power and Authority.
Typical for all Clark County out of control police.

You are right, I used to be one of em and cannot and could no longer stand the massive abuses of power and authority there. Lots of bad stuff happened and never get released as long as the wrongdoer is connected with the right (wrong) people. Noar is an oldschool dirtbag and so are a few of the others there at good ol NLVPD. Disgrace to the ideals of civil service.

Sounds like you've got some good inside dirt on the dirtbags....are all the lieutenants and captains in good 'ol NLVPD of the same old school?

from someone that used to be on the inside, what would be your advice for someone that wanted to pursue action against NLVPD for wrong doing?

So Kettner killed that guy? His death had nothing to do with the drugs in his system and the citizens holding him face down for 5+ minutes before the Police arrived?

If you want to hold on to your badge, you must be held to a higher standard. That is the responsibility that comes with it. That includes knowing how to handle people in EVERY situation.
If you can't stand the heat.....

A 34 year old suspect was shot 13 times by police, and officers are defending their actions, saying they had no choice but to fire. It happened early Sunday morning in North Las Vegas, near Scott Robinson and Alexander. Police were trying to pull over the man who they say was driving recklessly, and running stop signs.

Authorities say they fired their weapons after the driver tried to ram into them. Tim Bedwell with North Las Vegas Police says "For what ever reason he chose to ram a police car.""That's an act of deadly force against our officers and, this hasn't been investigated fully yet, but generally deadly force against a police officer justifies deadly force in response.

The 3 officers involved in the incident are on routine administrative leave. The suspect is expected to recover. Why where these cops out of control? One thing for sure, this wasn't deadly force by the motorist and doesn't justify this type of police overzealous need to shoot at people good or bad. Where is the Due Process? This motorist has RIGHTS despite any confrontation? Why are the cops getting paid and put on a vacation when they couldn’t control the situation without having to shoot someone?

I think all you bleeding hearts need to just shut up. If all these people that die in so called police custody would do what they are being told what to do and stop using drugs, there would be a lot less deaths. As for those doped up idiots, they get what they deserve. I do not think that YOU would be man or woman enough to go contact these idiots and then have them fight you without fighting back to subdue them. Then the people who call on these idiots have the nerve to sue the police departments. They should think about what they are doing. Lets see--my idiot husband or brother or whoever is doped up and is acting like an idiot, do I think that when the police get here they might have to fight him and something could happen? Oh I don't think so because I'm an idiot too, but when they kill him I think I will sue because I don't care about the death, I'm just a greedy bastard that wants money. If you don't want the police involved, then don't call them. I'm sure they have better things to do then come to your house.

Dott, maybe you should be on the receiving end of someone trying to run you over without defending yourself.

Right! Like letting a cop put a gun in your face for a minor traffic issue.
The problem is they are doing just that all the time and getting away with it. For your information, I have been abused by the Henderson cops and corrupt court system over a minor driving issue. Further in court, No one would listen to what the facts were. No one gave a dam!
They drew first blood, not me.
Yet they have appologized in an e-mail.
Too late and $200 dollars short.
Never trust a Henderson cop.

My son was assaulted by north las vegas police. He was accused of stealing a bike but was founded no to be the one after he was beaten up and sent home. He was not allowed to call me when he asked. He wasalso denied medical treatment when he asked. He was told to tell me that he hurt himself playing sports and not to tell me that a police officer beat hi up.
