I heard that global warming was going to increase the frequency and intensity of storms around the world - is it over already?

Global warming is actually going to make the winters colder. It will only be warmer in the summer months.

You need to go back and finish 4th grade at least.

The Earth is 4.5 billion years old, and so-called scientists think 100 years or so of weather records point to an impending runaway greenhouse effect that will boil all our oceans away into space and turn the whole place into the Sahara?

Clean air, water, and soil are all desirable things, but we can't hobble our economy with pointless, ineffective "green laws" when countries like China operate their polluting factories as cheaply as possible.

Right...Better to drive your kids to the soccer games and the mall in a shiny new Hummer than worry about silly pollution problems...We need lots of stuff now...screw the future...I'll be dead long before it really matters.

This might be a bit of a rainfall shortage, but until I see sand dunes blocking I26, the drought is so much bullpooey.

I guess that's why towns had water supplies of less than 100 days left last summer.
