Our government needs to allow more charter schools.

Some charter schools are okay, unless they are like the one in Asheville that has tree hugger and weed eater staff/faculty. They brainwash the children with extreme liberal views.

Obama wants to increase the # of charter schools. He is opposed however to vouchers which allow parents to take their kids to private schools. I agree with him on this issue because government would be getting involved in some schools that are religious. As for some other politicians who don't want to, I'm tempted to vote against them for that reason, but at the same time, I can't agree with them on a # of other issues, so it's a catch-22.

Since when is having a charter school choosing "sides?" It's just a different way of looking at public education.

Latin will get you real far in life these days. NOT. Maybe instead of dwelling on life 2,000 years ago they can teach our kids what the Chinese and Indians are learning; math, science and technology.
