If you're dying keep driving. Go to St marys or deconess. If you're just on Medicaid & can go for free for a cold then go.

Really... 3 family members died d/t negligence?? That is probably just your stupidity thinking that. MH is a great small town hospital. There are great doctors & nurses throughout the hospital. Don't hate on the ones that save lives!

If you've had 3 family members die there due to "negligence" then I would say you had 2 died to stupidity of going there after the first one.

I was at the ER one evening this week and all the employees I encountered were very nice and caring. A+ ER department.
And no, I don't work there.

there may be some okay doctors there but under no circumstances should a doctor leave a woman in labor to go take a smoke break my mother went 6 minutes without oxygen destroying her brain.

and my aunt had an aneurism but the doctor thought she was ODing and refused to do an MRI and it bursted.

seems pretty negligent to me.

First of all it's patients.. Not patience. And all hospitals have their faults. Deaconess along with st Marys have bad doctors. Yes. I do work at MH and have had the privilege of doing rounds at other hospitals and I think they all have their benefits. I'm sure methodist hospital, doctors, nurses, and all other staff didn't kill the patients.. It's called a disease process and that's pretty much how it works. You live with a disease, takes it's path, for the good and the bad. I

Methodist is a joke, the er doctors write the same medicines over and over. I know a lot of people that work there, and I would never ever go there.
I received wonderful care in the cardiac unit at St marys though.

The best thing that could happen to HENDERSON is for ST. Mary's to take over (buy out Methodist) And yes I've heard a lot of complaints about the ER Dr's regarding elderly people being disrespected and their health problems not being treating or over looked!

Yes I understand the disease process but most diseases can be treated and everyone should be treated with respect and kindness however a few ER Drs have no respect for the elderly and poor pts ! This is so sad!

Not everyone dies from a disease though. I've heard plenty of stories of doctors not catching things when they should, blocked arteries, appendix bursting...
