Fountains on river front

They are not ghetto showers if u ask me i am glad so tht there is a place for kids to go and cool off and a place for moms to mingle eith other parents i am starting to think some ppl just want something to bi*&$ abt get over ur self i will be glad to see it open so tht my kids can go down there with myself it ant no different then having a play date so kids can make new friends

Still the ghetto showers. Took my kids once. Saw the trashy parents of the world who either dropped their kids off or were in the fountain like someone else said with their white shirt and no bra. My favorite were the adults who didn't bring kids that were making out and then laying on a bench together. Keep telling yourself it's a nice place...it's where kids can totally hop from the fountain to the road. Stay classy.

I think it was a bad choice of location. What were the commissioners thinking.
Really surprised a kid has not been hit by a vehicle yet.

I live in Newburgh and saw the fountains passing through. I brought my children to enjoy while I enjoyed the breeze and view which was very nice as the sun set. My children really enjoyed it. There were some very low class people as well. I don't believe the location is bad, the speed limit is low and with parents watching the kiddos there should be no problem. However, I would like to see someone policing the area for those who need to get a room, etc... I would absolutely love to see this set up in Newburgh.

First, kids can cool off with A/C

Second, why don't you just mingle with other parents on topix, you're already on here.

Third, thank god you aren't that lazy to follow my number one and two suggestions. But I'm guessing you might be one of those people who park on the boat ramps on Second or Third streets because you're too lazy to walk a block to promote family exercise.

I don't mind the "trash" playing in fountains...homestly I'd rather them be there than make their way out to the country club. Just remember that "trash" has its own place too so quit your bitching and be proud of who you are, whether you're trash or not. ;-)
