I went to school with that Josh shelton kid and also lived down the road from nick. They are hypocrites Josh has a kid and yes they make mistakes but he treats everyone like crap and when he is in church then he acts like god his is number one which is a lie and nick is just the same

River of life has crucified more people than the average group of hypocrites. The pastors both smoke cigarettes, the pastor has cheated on his wife and beat her. She is a brutish woman who takes way to much control and often tells her cheating husband what she is going to do. They have reached out to shallow ministry groups who tell them how to streamline their church and tells them how many minutes to preach and worship. They embrace all lifestyles regardless of the willingness to change or not. They allow homosexuals to become leaders and keep it hush-hush. I personally have no issues with them, but the truth needs be known. They can't live the way they do and expect to hide their sin. Your sin will find you out. This isn't a call to ask people to be perfect, but don't lie and manipulate to keep your sins secret. They would have had my respect if they could have been up front and honest about their issues. They can't keep their kids in line, both are hurting and make tons of poor choices. They would rather have a full church of fakers that need love (that don't get it) vs having a few people who are willing to change the city. The stories that have come from that church astound even the loosest Christian in the area. I hope they choose to come out, and be honest with their own shortcomings and apologize to the brothers and sisters of whom they have left as casulties along the way to building their self-proclaimed "professional church". God save them from themselves.
