as a matter of fact i am a recovering addict, do i live in a bubble? hell no! i live life on life terms, i know right from wrong, and i choose my actions wisley! addiction is a very powerful disease, and rosco you are correct, talking about it DOESNT cure it, there isnt a cure for it, but its amazing to hear everyone's stories knowing your not the only one!! When ur in active addiction you feel as if you are the only one, that nobody could understand what you have been thru! hearing others and there stories makes it alot easier to forgive your self, accept your worngs and move foward!

It takes a bigger person to do what they are doing, than someone talking shit about them.
But what of there not doing it because they WANT to and only because it was there only option besides jail!?! Will they still stay clean after the program is completed?? Just asking!

Then that is their own stuff...Not everybody is there for the right reasons but thats anywhere....However there are ALOT of girls in there including myself that wants this and wants to learn how to live life on lifes terms. U cant let a few bad apples spoil the whole bunch ya know. I went there on my own but that doesnt make me any better or any diff from someone that is there court ordered that wants it just as bad as i do. Sometimes it does take jail time to wake ppl up and realize that they really do need help. It really bothers me that ppl choose to bash us and the program and they dont even know us....

Those "bag-totter" were all over the library yesterday. Took over most of the computer, and when one got off, another one got on. Gosh, they don't even pay taxes in this town. And before someone says The WARM Center pays taxes---they're a not for profit, so they're exempt from most taxes. They don't even pay property taxes on those nice, new apartments on McKinley Street.

Not tring to be rude but my wife is in the warm program at this time and I could not come down this past Sunday to she her on account of I had to work all weekend. Not sure if she was at the libary yesterday but regaurdless I paid over 30K in taxes last year so that should buy her some time on the computer.

Whatever the situation, we are all required to follow the riles of the road in order to share them safely. Doesn't matter if you're from the warm center or the country club. ALL pedestrians are to use the proper sidewalks, and cross the street at the light when they are given the right away and the way is clear. Drivers pedestrians have the right of way at the intersections. If they cross the street in the middle of the block they are guilty of jaywalking and that is not only against the law it is very dangerous epecially on second street. Just stating the obviuos.

Not trying to be rude, but I see from your posting address that you are from Bowling Green. My local library tax pays for MY LOCAL LIBRARY. Your local library tax pays for the Bowling Green library. And by the way, if you paid over $30K in taxes last year, you apparently made enough money to pay to put your wife into a addiction center instead of her having to go to a tax paid, state operated center.

Not all people that are in WARM are paid by taxes. Some actually pay to go there.

The Warm Center is just another example of how screwed up the system is. 49.1% of Americans get some sort of entitlement from our government and we are broke. Food Stamps, disability, treatment programs, etc.. We cannot afford to keep giving money to all these people who are not responsible for their own situations or lives. I take care of me and mine and think everyone should and if they can't then whatever happens; happens.

Its because of theses girls at the warm center that if you buy food from the deli at sureway that you pay for it in the deli
unless you are buying grocries they go in get food eat it there and stick empty pacages on the shelfs they are all crack head thieves. Thank you from a sureway employee. For the man with the wife in the warm center if you pay 30k in taxes Then pay for your wifes rehab on your own. This is for taxpayer bowling green and why is she in henderson?

It's just a free ride for them. I don't like the place and it should not be in our town... They make us all look bad.. You should have not started doing drugs in the first place and having kids so you could get money from the government to pay for your drugs.. This is why my taxes are going up all the damn time.
