I'm so discouraged. I have found AMAZING apartments and duplexes...
But none of them accept pets :( my son has a small dog he absolutely WILL NOT let go of. I feel really pressured to get a certain apartment that I really don't want.

Sometimes we have to "sacrifice" things. I would say that you "the adult" have to make the decision that's best for your family. Give in to your son and move to a less than desirable place or be a "parent" and move to a more desirable place with no pet. Property owners don't charge enough on deposits to repair the damages caused by most tenants as it is. Go price what it would cost to replace all flooring, have the odor removed, and other damages that are caused by pets and you will see.

Oh I completely understand why they don't want pets.
And me being a "parent" respects my sons love for his *long time friend. Obviously I'm not going to move us into a card board box so that we can keep a dog,but I am def. Keeping an open mind, and thought I would ask around more before any def. Decisions are made.

And thank you *sunnyI looked at the three bedrooms at pebble creek. One was VERY nice, but they don't allow animals in the 3 bedrooms...... But they do in the one and two lol
Just my luck :-)

I have a small dog too, and I've called around everywhere with the same results. But, if you don't mind living in apartment complex, Pebble Creek accepts cats and dogs, as long as it weighs less than thirty pounds. You have to pay an additional 200 dollar deposit and another 20 bucks a month rent for it, but at least you'll get to keep your buddy. Good Luck!

Oops, sorry, I completely overlooked the Pebble Creek thing above. You may want to try Property Management though. They are kinda the middle man, but they may be able to point you in the right direction.

You won't be happy once you move out there though. The management is terrible.

I was very happy here until recently. They cannot keep a trustworthy manager who doesn't steal money from the residents rent. This is the third set of managers that they have had in three years. The new managers are never in the office unless it is the first of the month. You have to leave multiple messages to get maintenance to come and fix anything. There is a 48 hrs or more wait for any work order to be fixed, even an emergency. You are right, some people may be happy with that, but I am certainly not. I was just offering a warning about what she was getting herself into.
