No our family members aren't the only resident there and you are missing the whole point. It means do your f-- job what u were trained and hired to do, don't hide your s---- in residents closets, don't hide in rooms and use your cell phones, don't scream and yell going down the hall ways don't pick on and use residents as your entertainment laughing at them, how would your a-- feel if it was your mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother or grandfather, even your child laying in that bed, we trust u people with our families lives!!! U sound like your one of the worthless piece of s---- that needs your a---- fired!! Some people do not have the means of caring for a loved one 24-7, that doesn't mean u have the right to neglect and abuse them, I also was a CNA and if u do your job the way you are suppose to regardless I how many patients or how many aides if u do it CORRECTLY there is no problem!
I definently agree with your post. I think Redbanks needs to change the way they hire people. I've heard a lot of negative things about that place. It seems like more people are getting hired because they know someone. These people are not true caring people that should be working there but do so because hey know someone and they slack off. I've know multiple people there and they've had a lot of negative experiences. Enough that one left and another should leave but enjoys the working with the residents. It's crazy how the elderly there need caring people to take care of them but instead they have someone that just stuffs there face of food when the time comes, rotates/moves them every once and awhile, and sometimes gives them bath when theyre supposed to. It's ridiculous and they're just there for a paycheck.

When I work with only one other CNA on the floor for twelve hours with 15 residents a piece all wanting/needing ho at the same time. I don't even get the
Breaks that are supposed to be given, because I know that they need our
Help. But let's talk about the people that drop their family there just to whither away. Remember they are the only ones they see and we love and help them. You say we are horrible people when all I see is people dedicating their careers to helping others building relationships with our residents just to see them alone then pass away its a hard job. And how some residents will do anything they can to get you in trouble cause they believe they should be the number one person all the time we talk care of alot of people all the
Time so before you go bashing really think about who is wiping who and who is putting in all the work.

I tell the fair truth and how it is. No BSing....It's the whole place over all that seems so bad that it gives it a bad name/reputation. I'm sure there are some CNA's there that are hard workers and dedicated to what they're there for. If you're one of them, work hard and really care, then that's cool as heck and I'm not talking about you. Continue working hard, try to progress at your job and life overall, and do what you can as best as you can taking care of "the people". That job is all about the people and to be good at it you have to want and like doing it. Those that don't, need to leave.

No good Nurse or CNA works "only" for a check! Those people either quit or are fired soon after they are hired. It's difficult taking care of sick people and its equally as hard to depend on a stranger to care for a sick loved one. All nursing homes have good and bad qualities. Please understand these employees work for a company and its the companies responsibility to monitor their workers not the publics.

In reality..everybody works for a check . You cant live without money or how else would you get by? You can take that how you want but you have to realize that no one is going to become a CNA unless they have some form of fashion for caring for people . Why waste your time trying for a job that you could careless doing.?
