So, my ex and soul mate for the last 17 years went nuts at 40 and left me and our kids for a 20 year old piece of shit. I've excepted she's gone but don't have any desire to be with anyone else. I'm only 37 and don't think it's right to go the rest of my life single. I know her situation will never work long term but I def don't want her back. So what do ya think topix friends? And to all the smart asses out there, go f yourself. Not interested in your comments

Thanks. It's just ashamed because she has no clue in all the family stuff she's missed. And for what? 21 and 40? Even if it beat all statistics and made it 10 years its not going to end well.

You said a lot about her and what she did. Do you have anything to own up to for your marriage breaking up?

Yeah I took for granite we'd be together for ever. If you can keep that in mind you can treat someone like everyday could be your last.

Here's some advice to guys out there i learned the hard way. Women need to be made to feel they're the most beautiful person in the world to you everyday. If you love her don't assume she wakes up everyday knowing it. Tell/show her.

Being taken for granted stinks. No doubt about that. And after you've been taken for granted for long enough, your feelings sometimes change. A woman should never get more attention at the gas station (or anywhere else) than she does at home. But so often we do. Some people get hard after a while.
Yep, understood. A little late but understood non the less

<quoted text>she's not using her head right now, trust me. Nor her heart. Some just go through a physical/mental crisis at that age. Being very serious. I'm sorry for the kids, 40 or not they don't understand. Not taking up for her at all (don't know her) but something may be going on with her that she should see a doctor for. But you can't sit home & be lonely either. You probably deserve some personal time.
You don't go see a doctor because you turn 40. Give me a break. SMDH

My soon-to-be-ex is learning this lesson the hard way. If you let everyone else tell your wife she's beautiful and talk to her while you ignore and emotionally abuse her, don't be surprised when she finally walks away because she's tired of settling for less than she deserves.

You don't go through physical mental crisis because you turn 40. And if you're referring to menopause by chance that happens later in life. So yeah, draw me a picture. Because at this point the only thing I'm aware she did, was leave her marriage and find a younger man. I wasn't aware that required a doctor.

Let me get this straight, the husband takes his wife for granted, she becomes tired if it, she leaves her marriage and becomes a cougar and that requires a trip to the doctor? LOL WHATEVER!!!!!

I know who you're talking about and no, it won't last. He's super white trash and so is his family. That doesn't mean you'll be back together. Bigger question is why would you even want that? It would never be the same after what she did. And stop kicking yourself, you was good to her. You've got family that loves you and that's all you need

As a friend, suck it up Mr "S" and keep doing what you're doing. You're raising your kids and that's all that matters. She'll get hers

You need to stay off this site and remember what you have. You've got your house and kids. Karmas a bitch and she'll burn for her actions. But that's not your business anymore. Let it run its course and stand tall.

I'm not arguing with you either. People take people for granted all if the time. It's human nature. I'm not saying you're wrong or right. But the person who posted that she's 40 and needs to see a doctor is hilarious to me.
If she's moved on to someone else, regardless if their age, you need to forgive yourself and her and move on! Life's to short for the "would of", "could of" and "should of" 's!
