Police: Children were sharing home with meth lab

Another active meth lab has been discovered in Grayson County, this time in Leitchfield, with officers arresting four people in the case.

It's bad enough that people would participate in the making, distribution, and usage of such drugs, but to expose your children in this way is horrible. Those poor children did not ask to be apart of that world. No choice!! My plea is this: if you don't care no more for your children than this- quit using them as your meal ticket and let someone raise them that really cares.

Our Government makes it too easy for people to keep having babies and using tax payers dollars to foot the bill for raising them. I feel for so many of the kids I see today. So many of them don't have a chance in this world with the way they're being raised.

I posted this here once before (I hope the link works), but I think everyone needs to see, not only what meth does to them, but what can happen to these poor babies. People that mfg. meth shouldn't be allowed to join our society, ever again.

The kids used to be in the custody of Betty my sister she lost the kids to Leslie.See there father (RIP) was married to my sister after he died Leslie took the kids from her. I blame the courts and Social Services. They should a done there job better cause if they wouldn't gave them back to her they wouldn't be in this mess...

Don't know what that has to do with meth. I know a lot of people have kids just to get a check. I won't disagree with that but meth is another story. It's not just lower income people making meth. So tons of these kids were not living off the government. You can't label meth makers that way. They come from all walks of life. I know for a fact that kids from awesome family lives and plenty of money can end up in prison over meth. Everything in the world can't be blamed on people needing government assistance.

i agree, shawn lee is an example of that.
read the story about him.
it said he was a wonderful man, great husband & a great father .. he just got mixed up with the wrong people.
anybody can get mixed up with meth, it could even b u.
im not saying u will do it .. but, it could even b someone in ur family or a close friend.
u never know !!

I know a lot of mothers that had gotten thier kids taken away for stupid shit, But you shouldn't come on here putting moms down,and some times when a child is taken from thier mother they really don't have a reason. But if the parent is doing something they shouldn't be doing like mistreating thier child or abusing them than yes something should be done.

Betty didn't need those beautiful children either. She was good to them while Steve was still alive but after his tragic passing she became extremely violent with the children. I heard that she beat them black and blue. It is so unforunate - those kids haven't hardly had a decent chance at life. I just hope and pray that those two children are in a place now with people who will always love them and really take care of them.
