NYPD Officer Fatally Shoots Knife-Wielding Man In Springfield Gardens, Queens
Police were responding to a call at 165-43 Terrace in Springfield Gardens . When they arrived they found an emotionally disturbed, 27-year-old man holding a knife to his own neck.

This is really scarey to know that you cant call for help with worring if someone is going to wind up dead..why couldnt they have shot him in the leg, some where else where it would not be life threating..why does it always have to be so excessive..my God all he needed was HELP..not to be dead..

No mention of placing the responsibility where it belongs. Had he killed a tourist there would have been no comment and had he killed a cop she would be mad that his body was blocking traffic and had his family fined for littering .

Alright there Annie Oakley, how many guns have you fired in your life? Do you have any clue as to what you're talking about? Are you aware that TV and the movies are not real-life? Did you think Die Hard was a documentary about a terrorist plot?
He didn't need to be dead? I don't know, death becomes him. His neighbors are probably pretty pleased with the outcome.
