Chris.. I actually think that we are beyond the point of no return. Im a bit older than u and I remember when gerrymandering was a fair thing. There were no crazy looking district lines. The parties could work together for what was best for the country. There were disagreements, but there was also comprimise. I amtruely worried that our democracy will disappear if both parties keep this crap up.

Agreed!,Even though i havent seen near the changes you have, but i've noticed a lot more drastic Changes with laws written, to prevent a vote to overturn,The key issues they know won't fly with the people? Have you had a chance to research the california High speed rail?,Or The fact that ex governator Arnold is getting ready to leagally challenge the constitution, to change it so foreigners can run for president?(Because he wants to run 2016)These are the type of changes that are really going to screw us is when they start dismantling the constitution.

Chris.. Havent researched the bullet train, but my opinion is that it would be the biggest waste of money in history. Dont know who had the idea, and who decided that it should be funded, but both should have their heads examined. Initial estimated costs, plus the gaurenteed overruns, and the environmental concerns add up to a disaster! Added to that, it will be underused and will run in the red from day 1.If im wrong, convince me please

ARNOLD FOR PRESIDENT??!! I heard that rumor too. Never gonna happen. If they change the constitution (very small chance), I would hope that the voters would look at the way he screwed up ca., and never vote for him. I would worry about the New Madrid Fault rupturing and killing millions of Americans. Or an astroid hitting us b4 worring about Arnold being POTUS. Bullet train and Arnold are just my opinion, Chris. What do u think?

Chris.. Im either a moron, or Im getting old timers disease. Prop 1a was passed by the voters in 2008, allowing 10 billion in bonds for the project. They say that a quarter mill people will ride it daily, and will protect the environment and create jobs. All bullshit. Where in the hell was I.Hope I didnt vote 4 it. Damn getting old sucks Chris. I had 2 have voted against it. Couldnt have been that stupid. Dont think u will convince me that its good.

Ya know I think arnold started the high speed rail, but brown completed, but i'm not quite sure who is the most responsible, If you find out let me know. I know there already way over budget, don't have any private funding, to go with the federal grant for completion,And I believe one of the contracts to build was awarded to either Nancy pelosi's husbands company, Or diane feinstein's One of the two has a big profit stake in it.It's funny how you don't hear the media or anyone else talking about it? LOL I Call it The Browndoggle

This whole project,is BS Check out who the contractors that were awarded contracts to build this thing, some are tied to special interests, and or politicians, padding their wallets,And then they have a "High speed rail committee" That gets paid who knows how many bazillion dollars, And they haven't even broke ground yet

Chris, 1st off, I am of sound mind after all! The latter part of 08 and 1st part of 09 I was dealing with my moms sickness and death. I guess that ny mind was elsewhere. Cant find anything on our senators being involved in the bullet train, but the Fienstien family owns some land that 1 of the proposed routes considered. There will be open bidding, but by selected companies. When ever there is a large govt job, u can bet political contributios are involved.

Chris.. Ross Perrot was the best chance of a 3rd party chance, but as u know, he didnt even come close. There was Jihn Anderson and Gene McCarthy (who i supported) were other notables that didnt do well either. Americans are too accepting of the status quo to change.Back in the early 60s thru early 70s was the time where the people had a chance to change things, and almost did. There was the peace movement, the student uprisings, the Kent ..

State shootings, riots in the streets, and general civil unrest. When VP Agnew and Nixon were forced to resign, my generation were sure that we had forced change. We were wrong. Instead, the govt became aware and better prepared to deal with any uprising. Its never gonna happen again. Peacefull revolution didnt work then, and stockpiled guns and ammo by citizens wont have a chance now. Just letting u know that our opportunity has passed us by.

This vid surfaced in 2001, posted by Mattinfo. Warrior. Abd there were many questions about its validity. It was later brought to light by the tea party in 2011. It is amusing though. I would think that the Britts thought they were terrorists. The founding fathers plotted and overthrew their rule over us.

Chris.. Well u kniw that I dont own a gun, and u probably know how I feel about guns. However, I would be the 1st to stand up to protect ur right to own one. With that said, I dont see anything wrong with taking guns away from people that shouldnt have them. Felons and unstable people should not be armed. And guns that are purchased illegally, are more than likely bought by someone who cant obtain it legally. The search warrant issue bothers me a bit.
