At one time or another, most of us have had a bad experience with a unscrupulous car salesperson. Well, if you have some spare time go to GOScH Auto mall here in Hemet. I realize they are there to make a dollar but like your stereotyped car salesperson, they lie to you while looking at you straight in the eye. I saw in a local Newspaper about an auto they had advertised in the paper and the price was fantastic. The price was only good for the next day. I was there when they opened the doors the next morning to look at the car.
Only to be told that the car had already been sold. When I showed them the ad, they said oh that was a typo error.
I will never spend my money at GOScH Auto Group.
I will gladly travel out of Hemet on my next auto purchase.

Gosch does suck.

They usually overprice their vehicles by $1-2k. Sometimes even more than that.

Those ads are just bait to get people to the dealership. I doubt that they even had such a vehicle/promotion to begin with. Hope you found good deal elsewhere.

Not all the dealerships at the auto mall are owned by Gosch. Pedder Nissan isn't and neither is Hemet Chrysler.

Yes, I feel that Gosch Auto Group gives auto dealers a bad name. I too will be going out of town to buy my next vehicle. It's too bad because I've always tried to support my local community.
But when you are left with no other choice you have to find a better auto dealer to purchase from.
Sometimes it's worth driving a few miles out of town. As for those promotions that they send out in the mail, I learned a long time ago that you don't get something for nothing. It's like fishing to see how many suckerfish they reel into the store. They are there to take all of your money. If you catch them in a lie, they really don't care, they consider it a game.
I guess when we are looking to buy a vehicle from a dealer, it's to be expected to be lied to.
To be auto dealer, you have to be certain type of person and being a little on the shady side comes in handy. Ethics is completely not one of their rules.

This is why so many people get screwed at a dealership. You HAVE to know exactly how to handle the salesman. The dealerships are at OUR mercy nowadays. Without buyers, they close the doors. Dealerships are really hurting. They rely on the buyer not knowing what they are doing. Look how many dealers have closed in the last couple years. Remember they are in business to SELL, not Lose customers. And salesmen work on commission only. If they don't sell, they don't get any money. Believe me they WANT to sell.

I bought my last car at gosch, a sonata limited, I just pulled up cars.com on my iPhone, showed them the target price, and they sold it to me for about $1200 under sticker. They did try to screw me on financing, but I told them I'll go through my credit union, and they gave me a better rate. I always try to make big purchases in the valley to keep the taxes local.

Well, I may just have to buy a new Chrysler, after all! Unless Nissan claims to be "made in the USA", like all other Japanese, Korean, and other foreign made manufacturers are saying. Still not sure about ANY manufacterer's claims of being USA made.....maybe assembled here, but with parts from THERE, and profits going THERE!

Good luck with that. Some Nissans are made in Tennessee, I have a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup. Made in Mexico. I have a 2003 Jeep made in USA but don't know about the parts. After market parts are not made in USA. I also have a 2011 Dodge Ram. Never bothered to check where it was made. I liked the 96 so much that I bought another one. Years ago I had a Buick station wagon. It was a 1978. Made in Canada.
I wish everything I bought was made here. but it is just not ever going to happen again. I would rather buy something from Japan then China. I do not trust China after they made toys with all the lead. I think they are trying to poison us all.

If you've had a vehicle stolen last year close to the time you had it serviced at a gosh service dept, there might be a connection.

My truck was stolen four weeks after I had it serviced with them for the 1st time. It was broken into and driven off with a brand new key.

Hopefully it will all come to light soon and I can really slam them.

Eric Gosch is the very reason for the phrase "spoiled little rich boy". He thinks he has the right to tell his employees who they can and can't buy from. If he can't make a buck on it, then you can bet that he'll find a way to keep anyone else from it. May karma find him soon!

I moved to the valley 20 years ago from the most crooked state in the US, and I thought that I was moving to a small home town friendy area and honest people. But you are right since Jack Gosch retired and tuend the business over to Eric and Marc it has gone to hell. The last time I bought a car from Gosch was 1994 and bought it from the GSM at that time his name was Walter (can't remember his last name) but I have talked with other resident from Hemet and they said that they also dealed with this gentleman names Walter and that when he Left Gosch's business went to hell!! He was honest and knew how to runa business, Eric runs it as if he wants to use it oike amoney printing press. He lives on top of a hill now, but you know what they say SH--! runs down hill. So stay away from the bottom of the hill becasue alot will be falling soon.
