I have noticed that several businesses in Hemet sell propane and the tanks are in a locked storage container located on the sidewalk in front of the business. That being said, we read about people losing control of their vehicle, jumping the curb and crashing into the building.
Its surprising that a vehicle hasnt jumped the curb and crashed into one of those propane storage containers. There is no cement post or any other protection in front of these containers.
The city should force the business owner or Propane Company to install a barrier to prevent the possibility of a very dangerous situation.
