Billing was changed to monthly which means another bill each month. Was this done to get more late fees??? Seems it would cost more to send out billing each month by snail mail than to bill each quarter which tells me that you make more money in monthly billing with late fees. How 'bout providing the option to those who want to pay each quarter, even pay ahead.Send warnings by email instead of, or in addition to, snail mail. Also make it easier to pay online by having a tech person know the passwords or help with tech questions instead of a clerk who couldn't help.Today and last night I can't even get online to pay the bill....due to being temporarily shut down...?

I like the monthly billing but they are charging more for it. Not customer friendly.

Typical Water utility, raise the rates instead of cutting like everyone else.

You can thank Tom Waggoner and Jeff Wall for this new billing ... and yes it is a ploy to get more money....but this is causing major problems from readings all those meters every month instead of every two months....Lake Hemet area has grown!! Plus they are using a billing system, that is old , and your right, not enough tech people to handle the online billing. In doing this Lake Hemet should have hired more people ....but they want to save a buck!

I am surprised one of the other water districts have not bought them out.

As far as I know, there are no plans for the lake other tahn looking pretty for the paople who live across from it.
I think it was Mr Waggoners plan all along to close it, clean, and refill it and leave it sit.
When the people across the street, come out on Stetson, they have a beauitful view now, thanks to LHMWD.

I have been told they are thinking of turning Anglers Lake into a park. But the problem with that is LHWD does not want to run it...

Jeff Wall is gone back to Eastern, wonder if Tom Waggner will be moving on to greener pastures too ...

Typical, screw something up, then move on, let some one else come in and clean it up.

The employees of LHMWD have stepped up to the plate to read meters every day and make a success of Monthly Billing. There are growing pains in life and LHMWD is trying to meet same by upgrading the billing system from the "old" one. Keeping tech people to a minimum and pilot testing during the last 3 months will tell if the current amount of employees can perservere. Time will tell. Save a buck you say? You bet. LHMWD would be remiss if they didn't try.

Anglers Little Lake looks pretty good lately... don't you agree? All cleaned up, refurbished and ready for the next 50 years. What is your arguement again? If LHMWD didn't rehab the area that would be a screw up. Not everyone is moving on it seems. Those that do need to fulfill their life's calling. Those that don't, aren't as lazy as you may ascertain. Wouldn't you do the best you possibly could in a job given to you?

You live is Oceanside and you have a comment saying you like the monthly billing in Lake Hemet Water District? And, you say they are charing more? How so? My monthly bill shows the consumption, delivery charge is prorated to the monthly amount as is trash, sewer, or any other services some people may have. Comes out almost one half or instead of two month billing, duh, one month billing. Seems easy to keep track of. Just saying ...

Unfortunately "hemet res" from Claremont, CA., there are people in Hemet who don't pay their water bills evidently. Or, they don't read the notices that come with their bills about switching to monthly billing. What is it like in Claremont?

Do the water companies in Portland, Oregon bill quarterly? Wow. Never heard of that. Usually in California it is monthly by reading the meaters, sending bills via US Post Office, and accomodating the customer by keeping up with today's technology and offering numerous ways to pay bills. Yes, the Public Utilities Commission companies are able to have a jump on this method. Let's give a local water district a chance to catch up!
