I am just curious what type of businesses you all think we need in the Valley ? Businesses that will bring something to the communities? That will employ higher wage earnings or the continuation of minimum wage earner?

I want to compile a list and introduce it to the council , and just see what happens. Maybe even do a write up in the papers .. on FB amd see if we can shake it up , around here, open a few eyes up.

We need light manufacturing/business that will pay a family wage to support more home building efforts/fill the vacant homes
to contribute to the overall economy of the Hemet Community.

The current fast food industry pays the minimum wage for the most part and that will not pay the rent, buy food and support a family.

The current Hemet City Council/ROCS complain about the low rents in Hemet -- what do we have to offer residents - or bring mew residents to Hemet? We have Crime and low-wage jobs - the potential loss of our local Fire/Police Department is not what brings new residents to a Community.

The Retired Seniors in Hemet are on a fixed income, but they spend their money in Hemet and support local retail, food, entertainment and a variety of medical services. Without the constant funding from our local retired seniors Hemet would be in worse shape that they currently are.

We need dedicated City Council Members who care about the long-term
future of the City of Hemet - not a Band-Aid fix by out-sourcing
our local Fire/Police Service. The current City Council Members will be long-gone when their term limits expire. The rest of us will be stuck with their decisions for a life-time.

unfortunately manufacturing/business has mostly gone overseas.. we need middle class jobs but they seem not to exist unless you work for the government or are in a union

But the city gets paid for taking in the early released sex offenders,as well as the low life black scum from LA. They don't give a S@#t what kind of businesses YOU want that's why there are a million dollar stores popping up everywhere,Most of the city council don't live in hemet anyway? As long as they are getting their wallets padded,They won't re-zone for business? Your wasting your time This has been tried over and over again,A perfect example of politicians NOT working for the people.
