We marry those people we're attracted towards and find mutual love.
That can be done without the state being involved.
Now genius....if you're gay wouldn't you be attracted to some adults of the same sex???
Gay means "happy" too. Who cares that self described "gay" people are attracted to the sane sex. No license needed for that, nor state obligation to grant one on that basis.
I think that's the point bright boy.

I disagree... There are several verses that seem to indicate that God's covenant with mankind changed when He sent His Son to die for our sins.
Hebrews 10:8-10
First He said,“Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”—though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then He said,“Here I am, I have come to do your will.” HE SETS ASIDE THE FIRST TO ESTABLISH THE SECOND (emphasis added). And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 9:11-15
That is why He is the one who mediates the new covenant between God and people, so that all who are invited can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.
Hebrews 8:13
By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.
Galatians 3:13
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us…
Romans 7:4-6
So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. But now, by dying to what once bound us, WE HAVE BEEN RELEASED FROM THE LAW SO THAT WE SERVE IN THE NEW WAY OF THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE OLD WAY OF THE WRITTEN CODE (emphasis added).
John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
----------
I honestly think that God is saying that He does not want to have a relationship with mankind that is built on a collection of 613 laws. He wants one built on faith and communication through the Spirit.
Gross conceptual error. The Covenant given to the children of Israel was to be eternal, The "New" Covenant mentioned in Jeremiah was to be that same old covenant written upon men's hearts so that all would know the Law without tyhe need to study.

There is nothing in the "New" Testament that came from the God of the Bible.(Well, except for those little bits that were quotes from the OT. Maybe.)

I wonder why a clearly distinct relationship has the audacious idiocy to try to impose itself on marriage and children. What does it say when you have to severely dumb down a relationship to equate to it?
Nobody is dumbing down anything, except for you (of course).

Two non-related consenting adults entering into a lasting covenant with each other is called marriage.

You don't have to like it if both wear jock straps, or both wear panties.

SSM has no effect on you nor can you come up with a compelling reason to deny people SSM. Your arguments about children are the best you've got, but they are completely irrelevant. What's more, you know it, but you persist anyway.

The set aside Q&A period was suppose to be 50 minutes, but that shrank to less than 20 minutes of preselected questions answered on cards and five people asking questions via a microphone, who questioned the who process and direction of the Judy Chu support.

You claim no dumbing down, and then turn right around and do it. At the expense of children no less! Then you eliminate one gender!

And with NO consequence? That only happens if something isn't real.

Sambo's was named after its founders, Sam Battistone and Newell "Bo" Bohnett. At its peak, the chain operated 1,118 restaurants. However, many customers, especially in the Northeast, felt uncomfortable with the name and the company's history.

Sambo's used the principal character from Helen Bannerman's 1899 book "Little Black Sambo," which was criticized for promoting negative racial stereotypes.

The first Sambo's, in Santa Barbara, Calif., remains in business and is now owned by the founder's grandson.

You're free to play the dickass loser and be against it. No one cares. Shit jackass - join the Westboro Baptist Church for that matter as part of their new Italian American liason for that matter. You're but a fly splattered on the windshield of history once this story is over.
Gays marrying will take place in more and more states as time marches on and will be no more than a non-issue eventually.
So has drug abuse and illegal immigration grown. What's your point? That wrongful behavior can exist and grow? We all know that...

How clever. You can name all of the recent victories as "proof" of prior societal acceptance of SSSB. Except, as we both know, no society has ever accepted it before. These "examples" that you have listed have all been pushed into legalization in the last 20 years or so. No historical proof exists of acceptance. Only forced validation. It's the only hope that you have. Subversion and infiltration.

My 30% quote is a figure is a factual statement. The other numbers include:
--Over 41% of the U.S. population lives in a state with either marriage or a broad legal status such as civil union or domestic partnership.
--Over 43% of the U.S. population lives in a state that provides some form of protections for gay couples.
RE: your comment about the freedom to choose... We have made a choice. And the choice that people are making is that same-sex couples should have the right to marry and the LGBT citizens should be treated equally under the law.
Yes, your minority has decided that the rest of us should have to accept a validation of abberrant sexual behavior. And it seems to confuse us that we're going to hell in a handbasket....

Bias is the only thing that has gotten you this far. As an example, I give you the politico that changed his stance, based upon his son. Total bias. Emotional claptrap that made him do a sudden U-turn in his stance. You know it, as do the rest of us. Pure bias.
