I was specific. Your stance that gays are either not married or should not be married are based on your various opinions with no factual support.
We can put that in another context by stating it appears to me at least you are determining your opinion or opinions should be held as factual information when the truth is they are based on your views of the matter without any proof.
As one example would prove you showed no proof the late Martin Luther King would be against gay marriage but merely speculated he would given some claim his daughter advised so yet never answered to the fact his widow advised otherwise.
If it is your opinion gays cannot be married you are allowed that but to deny they have already been married with more continuing to do so is nothing more than delusional.
I'm sorry, like I mentioned before you're not convincing in your arguments here.
No blondie, you were not specific. Which points are not factual and why.

You failed to answer the question posed to you given your confusing statement(s) in which you claimed both MLK would be for gays marrying and MLK would be against gay marriage.
So again, which is it? Do you believe MLK would be for gay marriage or against the idea?
I answered in post 214357.

Why are you trying to change the subject???

this is not a known term. Given I am neither gay nor was I in the cheerleading squad leading the marching band while handling a baton within my lifetime you'll need to explain such an asinine comment.

It is you who failed to answer the question and changed the subject in your response to the question of what do you think MLK would think of gay marriage given you gave 2 responses with each opposing the other.
So which is it? Would MLK be for or against gay marriage in your opinion?
That's your opinion, and it's blonde.

<quoted text>I already gave you one. The fact it can be argued MLK would be for gay marriage given by the feedback of his widow but you did not answer to it. I still don't really know your stance given you gave two separate views on that subject and have yet to clarify which side of the fence you are on.
Your labeling of gay couples as being "mutually sterile" is your opinion as well apparently. No facts. Just opinion.
The idea a heterosexual union in terms of marriage being "miraculous" is no more than a statement of opinion. I would think a miracle would be someone shedding themselves of terminal cancer and living to 99 but if you want to hold an opinion that all heterosexual marriages are 'miraculous' by all means do so but stop being so ignorant as to think the reflects any factual information.
We could go on. You don't have facts to bolster your opinions so therefore they remain as just that - opinions.
Now here's a fact. Thousands of gays have been married. An increasing number of states are allowing gays to marry year by year.
You said my commentary about marriage was all opinion.

Now you are back tracking.

Can't back up your opinion?

Smile.

Maintaining marriage as it has been historically and cross culturally is 'gay bashing'???
MLK was too smart to make such a stupid statement.
Sometimes it helps to do a bit of Goggling before making a fool of yourself...

"Bernice King, who has a long anti-gay past, took the stage yesterday at Atlanta’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. rally and included gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people among the various groups she said need to come together to fulfill her father’s legacy.

In a passionate, sermon-like speech about building unity, King said she didn’t care if people were Hindu, Buddhist, Islamist, were from the North side or the South side, were black or white, were “gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender”— that all people were needed to create unity."

----------

Seems as though she's had a change of heart regarding her views on rights for homosexuals.

Another Ralphs Grocery store has closed it's doors forever. This one was located at 1005 E. Arrow Highway San Dimas, California.

It is quit possible a Ralphs located on Grand Avenue in Glendora, California might suffer the same fate as the San Dimas store?

I never backtracked in here. Again, if you disagree provide proof otherwise it's a baseless claim if not a lie.
Which opinion(s) do you need me to "back up"?
Calm down, you're turning into a dizzy blonde.

You said this was all opinion;

Marriage is a miraculous union of two genders,
a union so profound,
it is described as the union of Mars and Venus.
It reunites humanity to the roots of life,
while at the very same time
hosting the best and natural
birth place of future human life.
It is the blend of masculinity and femininity.
The wisdom of logic and intuition united.
Strength and delicacy perfectly balanced.
Protection and nurture combined as one.
A complimentary merging that multiplies the unbiased blend of humanity's genders.

A ss couple cannot equate to a single one of these distinctions.

Please be specific, which ones are opinion and why.

LOL!!!
Jesus H Christ - you have an opinion heterosexual marriages trump gay unions. We got it already but there's not a shred of factual evidence in that tangled mess you keep regurgitating so if you've got nothing else just sit down and shut up because your turn is over sister.
Here's a fact - more and more states are recognizing gay marriage represents a right to it's citizens and have since been legalizing it.
Kimare pulls shit out of his ass all the time and calls it fact. i have caught him out dong this many, many times. he just runs away and pretends he never did it...

trying to have a rational debate with him using facts is pointless.

he will stick with his prejudicial bigotry till he dies...

Isn't that interesting? You're now the mouthpiece for Dr. King...
Coretta Scott King made the following comments in 2004 as the right-wing zealots tried to bring about a Constitutional Amendment that would have made same-sex marriage illegal: "Gay and lesbian people have families, and their families should have legal protection, whether by marriage or civil union. A constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages is a form of gay bashing and it would do nothing at all to protect traditional marriages."
So, who should we believe? You? Or the woman who was married to Dr. King?
Does she feel the same about polygamist too? They also have families, and all those state constitution amendments defining marriage as a union of ONE man and ONE woman, could be considered a form of poly bashing.

It's not "heterosexual marriage", but rather conjugal, as in husband and wife, marriage. Sexual identity labels are irrelevant. Besides what would you call a marriage of a self professed "straight" man, and a self professed "lesbian" woman, or a "bisexual" woman?

And WTF is this?????
"Mutually sterile"?? Are you to claim gays pursuing marriage are sterile??
Hardly. Their makeup is the same as heterosexuals in that they are able to either fertilize a member of the opposite sex if male or to be fertilized by a male as a female if they so wish.
"Duplicate gendered"??? Is that like calling a 12 ounce can of Coca-Cola a "carbonated cylindrical shaped aluminum skinned container of a sweetened beverage".
I'll stick with a can of Coke and the term of gay couples.
And "half marriage".- Either you're a married couple of your single. Some guy holding a bouquet of flowers wearing a tux while standing next to a limo in front of a church while a pastor waits inside all the while thinking some stranger will pass by at some point in time, fall in love and make him "fully married" still makes no sense to this fabricated term of "half married".
Their make up,is the same if the "gay" couple is of the opposite sex. A man and a woman, regardless of sexual identity labels, are still a man and a woman.

Same sexed couples can get married in a number of states with more allowing them to do so yes, in many cases same sexed couples are already married with more doing so. Not sure of your direction when you state "...do not equate to marriage.".
Being treated on fair basis is exactly what gay couples are demanding when it comes to marriage. They want fair treatment when wanting to marry the person of their choice in comparison to heterosexual couples whom are allowed to do so. Therefore you are incorrect in your statement. Fair treatment is the issue at hand.
And no. It is not difficult.
Men and women are allowed to marriage each other because marriage in American jurisprudence is understood to be a conjugal union. All men, and all women, have the same right to marry, enter into a legally recognized union of husband and wife, valid in all fifty states. There's no compelling state interest in treating some men, and some women, different than most men, and women. Equal treatment is just that.
