In other words, the Larry Brinkin case throws all the screwball LGBT "homosexuality is normal" theories out the window -- homosexuals can not be trusted. they are sick and need to be treated -- NOT given access to children.
Same sex marriage gives them that access. It requires society to treat them as it would any other married couple and this -- as we see in the Larry Brinkin case -- places children in mortal danger.
So this is not a time to defend same sex marriage. This is a time to slam the door on same sex marriage until we can figure out how to prevent other Larry Brinkins from adopting young boys.
That's all.

That's called censorship. A violation of the very First Amendment.
I am sorry that you feel that I was trying to make you believe like I do, but I was quoting from our forefathers and how they believed and it is to bad that our country did not continue on with their beliefs. I would suggest that you look up Rabbi Pastor Jonathan Cahn who was invited to speak at the Innaguaral Prayer Breakfast for Obama on Jan. 21st 2013 and also he spoke at the Capital Building in May 2013. He is a very dynamic speaker who speaks about our forefathers and also he is has prophetic messages about what is going to happen to America if we as a nation don't turn back to our Creator and obey His Commandments. If we do not turn from our wicked ways, he will destroy us like he did many of the Hebrew people in the Old Testament. I am only quoting from others and you are not offending me, for you are offending our Creator. Anything that I have been quoting so far has been from the Scriptures or others that have very deep beliefs, so if you have a issue about what I am writing, you are taking your issue up with the wrong person. My husband and I of 55 years of marriage take our faith as a matter of life or death and we do NOT practice any type of sin as sin is defined in Scripture. We follow Christ daily which is our beliefs and if you do not like our beliefs, that is your choice. We have been called kooks on this forum, radicals and many nasty things, but we are quoting from our Holy Scriptures which offends our Creator. If only one person will listen to the Truth, it will be worth it all. May you seek the Lord of Lord and King of Kings while he may be found and if you decide that this is not for you, it is OK. We ALL have a right to our opinions, but my opinions are based fully on God's Holy Word.

The newest translation of God's word on the matter, by Timotheus of the Order of St Abraxasian, clearly reveals that ALL contracts are contrary to God's law. "Let them not make a bond that contains not the imprimatur writ of Him, lest they and that bonding be cast into the pit of fire, there to feed its burning as a dire beacon of His wrath over such".

SS couples are not equal to marriage.

You can't equate a mutually sterile duplicate gendered half to marriage.

That's not rocket science.

I have never mooched off the government. I moved out when I was 18 and worked my way through school, troll. Did you? I thought not. I have made something of my life and probably pay more in taxes in a year than your entire income over a decade. You are a welfare troll who mooches off the taxpayers and has probably never worked a day in your life. You probably have some "disability" so you "can't work". Yeah right. If it wasn't for taxpayers such as myself, you would be living in the gutter or in a cardboard box on the sidewalk next to the sewer. Smile.
WOW! I'm real proud of you spice cake! Real proud. except your story is fake and mine's not.

You're a mooch and a loser. You left home at 18 WOW! I was in Vietnam at 18. Smirk. You're not welcome.

Here's another golden STUIPD nugget from the Republican, GOP, RNC and Tea Party brain cells.

"Republican" calls Obamacare tax on tanning salons 'racist' now if this don't beat all?

High level meeting took place over this statement and have resulted in the American public being reassured this is the reason they are not in charge anymore and looks like it may not happen for several decades either.

I would like to quote to you some of our forefathers beliefs.
(1) George Washington First President of the U.S. quoted: "It is the duty of all nations to aknowledge the providence of Almighy God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor."
(2) Senate Judiciary Committee report, January 19, 1853 quoted: "We are a Christian people, not because the law demands it, not to gain exclusive benefits or to avoid legal disabilities, but from choice and education; and in a land thus universally Christian, what is to be expected, what desired, but that we shall pay due regard to Christianity?"
(3) John Jay: First Chief-Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court quoted: "The Bible is the best of all books, for it is the word of God and teaches us the way to be happy in this world and in the next. Continue therefore to read it and to regulate your life by its precepts." Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation, to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."
(4) Joseph Story: U.S. Supreme Court Justice; Father of the American Jurisprudence, Placed on the Court by President James Madison quoted: "One of the beautiful boasts of our municipal jurisprudence is that Christianity is a part of the Common Law. There never has been a period in which the Common Law did not recognize Christianity as lying at its foundations. I verily believe Christianity necessary to the support of civil society."
(5) Benjamin Franklin: Signer of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution quoted: "I've lived, sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth: That God governs in the affairs of men. If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured in the sacred writings that unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. I firmly believe this, and I also believe that without His concurring aid, we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel."
(6)House Judiciary Committee Report, March 27, 1854 quoted: "At the time of the adoption of the Constitution and the Amendments, the universal sentiment was that Christianity should be encouraged. In this age there can be no substitute for Christianity. That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants."
I quoted from 6 different sources on this subject of our forefathers and as I understand them, they believed in God and thought that Christianity should be the religion of this nation.
Too long, boring and pointless. You should post to Big D, he's into that religion stuff too. Me, not so much.

Sorry, but the fact remains that we are not a theocracy but we are in fact a secular nation where the Constitution trumps the bible in social matters! Please take your bible into the church of your choice, lock the doors and preach to the choir. We are a nation of many religious beliefs and non religious beliefs and we all have the right as Americans to worship or not to worship as we see fit. I have nothing against you believing what you want but please do not try to put YOUR religion off on me,it is again my choice not to listen or for you to make religious social laws from your bible!
