Hardly.
I was referring to further back than 200,000 years ago. The reunion of man and woman in marriage reflects early genderless life. Moreover, you still ignore the other side; Marriage connects us to our past and our future.
Ss relationships are a momentary mistaken mutation aberration.
The distinction could not be more graphic or monumental!
The distinction exists only in your head. Because your a moron.

Kennedy himself even brought up the issue of children. He said that children are placed at a disadvantage by not allowing their same-gender parent's marriage to be legally recognized.
He addressed the fact that children of same-gender parents do not feel that their families are equal to other legally married couples.
He gave examples of how insurance coverage for children are at risk.
He also talked about how social security death benefits are not applied to children of same-gender married couples.
And finally, he talked about how certain laws make crime against Federal Agents and their families a much more serious offense. These laws are set up to deter criminals from targeting Federal Agents and their families. With DOMA, same-gender married couples and their children weren't protected by such laws.
So, Kennedy absolutely had children in mind when he wrote his decision.
Absolutely, and I agree with him.

This type of behavior is well known in the Republican, GOP, RNC and Tea Party circles.
Douglas Tessitor and his side kick Gene Murabito are avid followers of this type of bullying behavior too.

page after page of pointless bigoted posts..you never once mention anything of love and commitment between two people, the REAL reason that people get married. If procreation is the only thing that matters to you, then marry a turkey baster.
You hit the point right on the head!

My wife means more to me than our ability to have children

My wife means more to me than sex

I would stay with my wife regardless of our ability to have children, or even the ability to have sex.

Our marriage means a whole lot more to us than that.

It makes me sad that some of these people cannot think past the biological function, that their marriages mean no more to them than that alone.

No wonder they think that same sex couples marrying will weaken their marriages, their marriages are so weak to start with.

The new Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center will open this fall, but due to public perceptions, the water from the plant will be diverted for use in fire hydrants, landscaping and electrical fountains instead of homes.

well although I agree in general, I understand why they did not.

Roe V Wade

Although I certainly agree with the Roe V Wade decision, its pushing it on every state all in one moment in time, made it a hot button political issue that was a rallying cry for those opposed to women’s right to their own reproductive system.

By allowing the states to come to the right decision on their own, and in their own time on same sex marriage, they are undercutting the politics.

Pressure is mounting on these states to do the right thing, large businesses are re-considering where they will do business, where to locate offices in states that do not recognize the marriages of their employees.

By having the states come to the right decision in their own time, it becomes a more natural state.

It will happen, but it will take some time

Take this recent victory as a win-win, not only is same sex marriage recognized in California, but more importantly, it is recognized on the federal level with the changes to DOMA

Load of nonsense. In any event, my relationship isn't required to have a connection to the very roots of human existence. Neither is anyone elses.
<quoted text>
I would disagree, but ultimately it's irrelevant since it isn't required to.
<quoted text>
No fruit is required from marriage. Never has been never will be. And your fruit is rotten, no one wants it.
<quoted text>
Yes. Yes you are.
<quoted text>
You seem to think that I give a shit what you think about my relationship and the relationship of other gays. You would be mistaken. I only care what the state and the federal government say. They say my marriage is the same as yours and that you aren't special. They trump you. They always will.
<quoted text>
Perhaps that made up word, just like all your other made up phrases simply demonstrates how desperate you are. Nothing more.
Have a good day you pathetic c*nt.

You lie.
I brought up far more than barrenness.
A bad ruling cannot change the vast and numerous distinctions between marriage and SS couples.
Moreover, not only was there not agreement about procreation, the bare majority flew in the face of previous SCOTUS rulings.
No piece of paper can equate distinct relationships. And that is ALL SS couples have.
What a crybaby!!

I'm still married. The state and the federal government confirm that. They trump you. They always will. Not a damn thing you can do about it!

Smile.
