From what I have heard, the officer was cut off by another driver, swerved to miss that driver, and lost control. Until the investigation by the CHP is complete, none of us have anything else to contribute.

I thought it was "innocent until proven guilty"?

Let's see how this all plays out...then comment.

"innocent until proven guilty" I thank the Police should drive there own cars to and from work like most people .. Now the tax payers are stuck paying for this !!

I agree if the Staties had to give up their vehicles for their on, well the Police should too. Heck not even Utility workers can take vehicles home anymore.

No the who work for the state are Union and they had to give up their vehicles. The Utility workers are Union and they gave up their vehicles.

Maybe SJ has bigger money ... so can afford to let their guys take them home.
