Sean was a great kid I got to know him and he was not a gang member and the cops need to crack down because we are having killings like crazy. These gangs need to leave.

Or what? You'll kill them, too? Yeah, that makes lots of sense....

Get over yourself and your gang-pride, and get an education. Then you will become a MAN. Until then, you are just a cowardly gang member.

He never said he was a gangster. He never said he was going to kill anyone... maybe YOU are the one who needs some education 4-20. By the way... assuming you smoke marijuana (420 a to z) that $$ usually goes right into some gangsters pocket. Quit acting like a bitchy lil pot smoking child.

I don't smoke pot. Just kidding with the name. And I was just trying to find out what exactly would be done if he were "dissed".

Do most gangsters go about freely admitting their gang affiliation?

<quoted text>This young child wasn't a gang member. He attended H.H.S with my daughter it was idiot gang members whom crashed the grad party. Who took this young child's life. You are correct the city needs a wake up call for this being such a small city, there is a lot of gangs here. Gang task force, community involvement etc. We do not want this becoming Los Angeles gang infested...

The house where this happened burned down this morning.Good riddance to the scumbags that were squatting there illegally any ways.
They brought a very unwelcome aspect to this neighborhood.

There's another tragic, senseless shooting in Hemet!
The life of a 17 year old boy was taken Saturday night. Sean Jones was shot and killed at the 400 block of East Kimball near Juanita.
This community needs to get it's head out of the sand and advocate for increased public safety. The San Jacinto Valley has succumbed to crime and carnage.
Residents and visitors must be better informed about this treacherous town. The media, especially the Valley Chronicle needs to better serve it's readership. Bring us the REAL news - right on the front page!
The Valley Chronicle should start printing a "police blotter" and report ALL criminal activity that takes place in the valley with the exact date and location. Increased public awareness is a valuable tool that can help law enforcement crush crime.
Residents must demand that elected officials get their priorities straight and make public safety the number one priority AT ANY COST! Law enforcement must be beefed up. Any program that is not central to public safety must come under scrutiny.
The valley is a war zone. If it will put one more cop on the streets - shut down the library "hood ornament."
Long time ago the Press Enterprise use to print the police blotter. Don't know why they don't now.

Wow, another black gang murder in Hemet. I sure hope that city hall employees get a raise.
I was a friend of Sean and in no way was this gang related. Sean would never get involved in anything gang related..I guess a good word to describe his personality was "church boy". He was an amazing human being who died senselessly over what hat he happened to be wearing that night. It was an incomprehensible murder that was beyond unnecessary. He left behind a fiance and new born baby. Sean Jones will always be loved and remembered. People shouldn't always believe what they read in the news paper.
