Walgreens @ Lyon

I just wanted to give you all a heads up about the Walgreens on Lyon.

BE VERY CAREFUL when you get your prescription filled there. This is the second time, I got a prescription filled there and they have givin me the wrong dosage!!

I am so glad I listened to my DR closely, and knew the dose. I hazard to think of the people in the valley who do not listen closely to dosages the DR says and get the wrong dose.

I wish I knew who to complain to, that the complaint would serve as a warning to Walgreens. Scares me to think Walgreens would give the wrong dose to say a infant ... SO please beware and make sure you are getting the right medication.

That place sucks! The woman manger is a real bitch. She thinks her employees can do no wrong.
They are rude and disrespectful to customers. I've watched her handle complaints.
I avoid that place. Don't want to spend my money at a place where they think that they are doing you a favor by taking your money.

Every time I go there I must run a gauntlet of panhandlers outside that try to hit me up for change.

No shit. I'm so glad this valley has welcomed all the trash from the ghettos of L.A. Gangs, drugs, complete lawlessness.

I'm convinced Hemet is now worse than any L.A. shithole.

The last time I was in Hemet was 2008. There are that many panhandlers now? There was only a sprinkle back 2008. I only ever encountered one once in the Lyon and Florida intersection back then and I was frequenting some stores there frequently.
Times have changed.:o(

The city has absolutely no direction. It has been reduced to a ghetto. There is no hope, get out now and take the women and children with you!

<laughs> I started this thread on Walgreens and their prescription practices.

HOW this got to panhandling I have no clue.

BUT speaking of the panhandlers, maybe if everyone would start harassing them as they do us, they might get the "idea" although so far they remain clueless.

I hate to think of having to send my child to the schools in Hemet... the children of the ghetto are no better then their parents.

Just connect the dots!
This thread went from Walgreens to panhandling because it's Hemet. The word "Hemet" conjures up an image of gangs, criminals, parolees and pedaphiles. Hemet doesn't receive attention regularly on Channel 7 Eyewitness News because it's a resort destination. Hemet = slum

Decent folks are leaving the San Jacinto Valley quicker than you can say Compton. Workers that are employed in Hemet either live there or commute in. If they live there, they're stuck and miserable. If they commute in - they're desperate for jobs.

If you're in Hemet, you need to keep looking over your shoulder to avoid getting mugged. Employees at drug stores, liquor stores, and banks are so nervous they're making mistakes.

Now, after September 2, whenever you mention Walgreens at Lyon and Florida, "officer involved shooting" comes to mind.

So true! Kids learn from their parents, but many fathers leave and do many mothers just don't care. It's hard to find a high school age child that knows how to write a decent sentence without ghetto slang, dirty words or text speak.
