Who that voice will come from will have to be determined. There was debate about whether the city is better served by its current large firm that also counts major cities among its clients, or with a smaller company where Hemet would be a higher priority.

Interesting facts about what they are wanting they gave HPD 4% raise and cover 5% of there PERS MONEY out of GENERAL FUND MONEYS gave UPPER MANAGEMENT $98,000 IN raises . They are moving employees around to made up posistions that are payed out of GENERAL FUND MONEYS that are on the cut list to svae there jobs, but want the EMPLOYEES that are not PAYED from the GENERAL FUND to lay down roll over so they can keep there jobs. They want NON- GENERAL FUND EMPLOYEES to take all the cuts before ALL TEMP, PART TIME EMPLOYEES are CUT so HPD and HFD can get there raises. Why is it that CITY COUNCIL gets LIFE TIME insurance benfits when they leave office when they aren't even full time EMPLOYEES. They give big bounses to upper mangement for above and beond job duites, so who do they think makes them look so good? They sold the refuse dep. and know they are broke. Maybe they should stop buying properties that are non-profitable, 8 4 plexes on Mobley 3 have been rehabed but still no takers, no renters so were is the profit?
They bought a house @ State & Mayberry had contractor inspect said house , when time to rehab same contractor said house was NOT REHABABLE had NO FOOTINGS and would cost to much to repair and same contractor got the contract to rdemo the house, was this contractor related to someone in HIGH places? What about the potatoe shed CITY bought and leased back to same person they bought from at no profit, the CITY has said it would take 4 jobs $250,000 to demo said property, but no one has said anything about what type of HASMAT will be found on property and what that would cost to clean up! May the CITIZENS of should take a good long look at what YOU elected OFFICALS are doing to your TOWN! Do you see any inprovement, any new bussinesses NO you won't , they want them to do all the inprovements, at there cost.

The city has no money and no means of securing any money for the future. The gov. handouts for the crap comming into this city are going to dry up because the citizens are hip to it. So, where else can they tap? There's nowhere else.

Without securing an industrial infrastructure in the last three housing booms Hemet has cut it's own throat. They were more interested in filling the valley with as many tract homes as they can with almost all as no mello-roos. So the current tax payers were shouldered with the burden of paying for everything and continue to still pay. They were interested in wooing retail buisness into the valley to compete with Temecula. But, with no-one to patronize these retail buisness and restraunts they either went under or lowered themselves to Hemet standards causing most to leave town to shop/eat.

The only solution to raise Hemet out of the red is to spend the money it's wasting on usless crap to FORCE MWD to fufill it's promises of a water park, Hotel, body contact lake, ect...

or start developing the west side as industrial. Hemet's farther away from the 15/215/91, but access to all three is the best it's been in the 30 years I've lived here. They can charge a little less per ft2 to attract them into the valley.

But, don't see this current city staff making any sane decissions in the near future to improve anything. The town is going to be another Detroit.

You must be very nieve or very dumb, sounds loke your brother is feeding you sh**, if the city of hemet had control of domenigoni we would be boating on the lake not just fishing, the water park would be open on east end so would the motro cross park, golf course that MWD had promised when they built the lake, so were are they. that lake didn't bring the tax money they said it would. Valley runs the small pool and ball feilds. You can't even walk your dogs arounl the lake any more, what good is a lake that size when the only activity there is fishing, lots of money coming in right. MWD had no plans of even keeping their obligation for the lake!
