As they say in "The Hokey Pokey" and that's what it's all a-bout. Mr. Petty will pay any person, bear any price, a more than willing lap dog for the fine Doctor.

Amazingly enough, their current spree of snapping up properties along the development route hasn't been dragged out into the light yet.

Title search, anyone?

Title search would be a GREAT place to start. Who here knows how to do that?

The "power brokers" are still in charge, maybe a bit "behind-the-scenes", but still there!

Petty, Minor, Chaudri, how far will the connections go?

Smith, Franchville, lapdog Youseff?

Where does Foreman fit in?

Krupa may be the only honest one on Council, and who knows how she may have been "swayed"?

It's "put-up" or "shut-up" on Hemet council recently, going all the way back to the Davidson "release" with pay. Can you say "hush-money"? I knew you could.......

Franchville is nothing more than a former ticket-taker at a local movie theater who decided that he is more important than that, so decided to seek employment by RSO as an "investigator". Maybe he had some college education, I don't know. What I do know is that his title of "investigator" apparently means that he is now in charge of "investigating" disputes between kids in juvenile hall.

What qualifies him as a council member or "mayor" of Hemet?

I am still searching for the answer to that one.......

As far as I know, he doesn't even LIVE in Hemet. Frenchy apparently has a rental property in Hemet, which he claims as his primary residence.

Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Weird, maybe. Probably. Most DEFINITELY! But he hooked himself one hell of a trophy wife! Guess they both used the same makeup company?

BTW, Youseff still lives at home with mommy, from what I have heard. Most likely gay, but that's OK. He is Frenchy's lapdog. Maybe something is going on behind the scenes, out of the view of Frenchy's hot wife?

Whatever you think must be right, as you do not even know who I am. Would LOVE to know who you claim to be. But, whatever, I'm done here.......common sense leaving now.

If the city has sixty million dollars worth of property, then if we contract out all city services to the county, we can sell them the property and have sixty million dollars to put into our community?

BTW, I was just having some fun. Facts are FACTS, and you're right, we should get them on those issues.

Sorry if I strayed a bit from the topic.

"forwarding this over"? What does that mean? Should I be scared of some repercussions?

Does anyone find it ironic the mayor is tired of the bad behavior at council meetings? Lead by example Mayor! I know you have a mirror in your pocket...use it.

Two of the "outbursts" at that council meeting were from MOST of the crowd, when the tea-baggers (from Murietta and Temecula) insulted the old folks who were there to defend their public safety departments, in this case Hemet Fire, which has been asked for an RFP, the first step in contracting out.

One tea-bagger said that the old folks didn't even know why they were there, they just showed up to get free red Fire Dept T-shirts. Several of the old guys there defending Hemet Fire saluted during the Pledge of Allegiance, which indicates that they are VETERANS! What an insult to folks who served this USA during wartime, securing the freedom we have today!
Many in the crowd took offense to this statement, and shouted out in defense of the Fire supporters.

The other tea-bagger pointed out that the old folks left after making their speech/appearance, as if once their "part" was over, they had no more interest in the meeting. Guess what? They were previously ASKED to leave after their short appearance by none other than "Mayor" Jerry Franchville, in order to make room in council chambers for other attendees to view the rest of the council meeting.
Once again, many in the crowd shouted out (in the old folks' defense) that they were ASKED to leave.

What right does Frenchy have to ask anyone not disrupting the proceedings to leave a council meeting, anyway?

Tea-bag away! You tea party freaks are doing yourselves in, by attacking a lot of what made and makes the USA the greatest nation on Earth. And LOTS of folks are noticing.

Last time I checked, everyone in this country owes a debt of gratitude that will never be paid, to the old folks that lived through the depression, and kept you from speaking German or Japanese.

Hemet IS still very much an old folk town, and if you can't learn some values from their generation (it's not too late, you can always go talk to one of them, they won't bite) then the least you can do is let them live out their lives with a little security, which is exactly why HPD and Hemet Fire are the way they are.

For all you teabaggers, let's see you put your money where your mouth is, and cut the Fire and PD from serving YOUR parents, in whatever town they live in. Let's see you put up or shut up, YOU go to their aid when they need it.

Worthless pieces of sheep dip.

You are dead on, 420.

And here's one little tidbit to think about for the rest of you. Franchville represents RSO's finest. Doesn't look like he's too even keeled to me. Is that what you want responding code 3 in your town?

Who's he going to shoot, you or the bad guy? How much more intensity is a code three call compared to a handful of righteously indignant people in a council meeting?

Thanks for the support, death from above. I just hope there are lots of people in Hemet willing to stand and fight for what we believe in.

And for the rest of you, a pre-emptive strike---
NO, I am not a Hemet cop or firefighter!

BTW, County and State cops/fire are union members as well, so contracting out will not avoid the supposed "union excesses". Look to the "top officials" in Hemet City Hall for the excesses. I assure you that one will find much cronyism and kickback scams there.

Educate yourselves about where the REAL problems in Hemet lie. Here's a clue for ya---it is NOT with the actual WORKERS in the City of Hemet!

I think that many HPD officers would struggle (pesonally/internally) to protect Franchville from the folks opposing his selling-out of Hemet for his own personal gain. Especially if it is only a verbal attack, like shouting opposition to council in a meeting. What is HPD's "prime directive"? Protecting the citizens of Hemet. Would that not include protecting the Citizens of Hemet from a corrupt city council?

Makes one wonder.....

I wonder who else is "on-the-take" in Hemet City Council? Any connections to CR&R? Or is the selling of refuse simply a way to "tax-out" of prop 218? At this point, I guess City Council has lost their "cash-cow" refuse dept, and is finding another way to drain the residents pockets, through "franchise fees"?

Either way, dirty dealings abound.

Hemet citizens will lose control of their refuse dept, and refuse pickup prices will increase in order to make a corporate profit for the Wall St bigwigs. How sad. Increased prices for decreased services, brought to you by corporate greed and Hemet City Council.

Maybe "off-topic", but not so much......

Wondering: You post this question under the heading Jerry Franchville, but your question has nothing to do with him. The potato shed purchase was made by the prior council before Franchville was elected. The potato shed is one example of how the prior council spent and wasted Hemet's $10 million surplus. Lori Van Arsdale, former council member, is/was also a real estate agent and Hemet thought purchasing land at an inflated price was a good idea. Hemet made other bad land deals to include the property where Fire Station #5 was. This property is riddled with earthquake faults and can not be built on. These deals were bartered with the prior council who no longer have to face responsibily for thier mistakes (because the people elected them out).
Wrong...First of all the potatoe shed was purchased in the $600,000 range and you can look that up. Lori VanArsdale had quit selling real estate in the valley back in 2000 and had nothing to gain from the city buying anything overpriced, in fact always argued for a better deal on everything including equipment purchases which you will find if you look up the minutes. They use to call her the tight wad on the council.

it seems as though Franchville has sold his home here in Hemet and has moved out of City limits. Someone is not paying attention.
