I have my dog outside in a fenced environment with a dog house and everything. They told us he needs to be inside our house and not out. My mother has allergies so we cannot have our dog inside. Walking around the park I see other people who have outside dogs. They also told us that dog houses are not allowed. My dog has done nothing wrong. I would understand if he bit someone and stuff but he did not. He's a very nice dog. People stop and pet him when they walk by. The management has even pet him. I've had my dog for 7 years so hell no I will not go down without a fight. They seriously need to spend time on actual SERIOUS ISSUES like the drug selling or at least hire better security guards. We have not seen one security guard at all. Someone tried to break into our house luckily they couldn't get in and we didn't really have anything important inside the house since we were barely moving our stuff in. But where was this security we pay for every month? and why didn't he stop the people trying to break in? I've been living here now for about 3 months and so far it's the worst experience ever. I wish that I would of found this site before we even bought our house. Because knowing the things that I know now I wouldn't even bother looking for a house in this park.

I work in Hemet/San Jacinto/Murrieta selling manufactured Homes. I have had both positive and negative experiences with this park. I do notice they bend the rules on credit for the buyers of their homes...and are overly strict on buyers for realtor's homes. As I have been selling more and more used homes in this park, I have learned how to get my new buyers approved. If you are having trouble selling your home, feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you sell your home.
You dont have to stay trapped in a place you don't like to live in. I sell homes in numerous family communities that do not treat home buyers/owners in this way. The communities are clean,(some)gated and family oriented. Trust me no park is perfect, there will always be that one nieghbor that spoils the bunch, but wouldn't you rather be in a park with good management & fair rules.;

@katy. Unfortunately, poor people like my family just had to live in hell holes. We moved from Riverside, CA to Hemet for the more affordable cost of living. I have heard concerns about Mobile Home Parks that are managed so strictly, having outraegous rules, as if the owners wanted to create a "Beverly Hills" out of them parks. We're renting right now. I would love to own again a mobile home so I could at least don't feel bad if I break something. I have 2 autistic sons. They were devastated for losing their friends when we moved to Hemet. I promised to myself that I will allow them to finish high school in Hemet. I have accepted the fact that sometimes poor people just have to deal with demeaning treatment from others. There are not many family parks. Santa Rosa is the cheapest of all available. I am looking forward to purchase a unit there.

I think I see your problem. You are setting your limited too low. You are lowering your standards. Why? Are you depressed? Did you give up? Why set a goal of owning a trailer in a bad park your goal? You will still have the bad neighbors, issues with the crappy park managers. Have you ever considered purchasing a regular home? I don't know what your credit is like, but if you we're going to purchase a trailer, you might be able to find a house. It's harder to buy a home now, but there are still great deals and decent mortgage plans for first time buyers. Well, regardless, think about your kids and try not to lower your standards to what society says you should be.

@Annon. As a poor head of the household, I set my standard within my ability maintaining zero debt. I refuse to tangle myself with burdensome standards (and tax rate). Mobile home parks, apartments and other rented properties shall remain the same, wherever they are. There will continue be management inconsistency. Managers come and go. Management companies and park owners change too frequently. You will never know what new rules they will impose next. That's just the fact. I am not depressed, my dear Annon. I am just being realistic. I am 50 years old. I have put my daughter through school so she can start life with zero debt. I have 2 more boys to raise, and that's about it. I want to enjoy my money with my boys instead of giving them away to bankers and tax collectors. I have looked into some homes in the Hemet and San Jacinto area, but the property tax is sickening. Mobile home is the second best for now. Santa Rosa is not that bad. I have acquaintances who live there. And still the cheapest Family Park there is.

Another thing, living in a mobile home will qualify me for CARE, SHARE, HEAP. I hope I won't upset people who don't qualify.

Thanks for your response. I appreciate it.

i have lived in the park 13 years. i have seen some things! i like living here, but I am ready to go. my mobile home is falling a part, and the park life is getting old. i have enjoyed living here. its not as bad as some people posted. the management has been very questionable in the past. they seem to have mellowed out lately. i still get wrote up for little thing, i just take care off it. everywhere you go there are rules, and santa rosa mobile park has the most interesting rules, in the world
