Employees with communicable diseases. Should of covered that herpes cold sore with a bandaid, Paco. Shut them down pretty quick. Don't care if they a an A, tripple A, double penetrating rotating A...it was nasty once, it's always nasty.

Jealous? Jealous of what? Yeah, I wish I owned a restaurant that was shut down by the Health Department. It probably cost a heck of a lot to bring that place up to code.

I agree with jealous on this point. The idea of making money is great and just because a biz was shut down for a day doesn't mean anything. Even if it cost a lot to bring it up to code they are still in biz. yeah, jealous alright. Me? i like the food there.

Speaking of Panda Express: used to buy food from the outlet at Florida Avenue in the Hemet Mall's parking lot (next to Starbucks). It did bug me that they were OBVIOUSLY hiring illegal aliens (who, besides sneaking into the U.S. illegally, often enough harbor deadly deiseases such as drug-resistent tbuberculosis and -- a particualrly nasty one -- Chagas Disease.)
From my personal experience I can say without hesitation that, as of a year or so ago anyway, the Panda Express on State Street between the Ramona Expressway and the college is about the WORST restaurant I've ever purchased food from. I'm pretty lenient regarding fast food but the Chinese food at this particular Panda Express that I've bought in the past has been exceptionally bad. Small, small portions of unappetizing, low-quality food and a tendency to forget to bag certain items you've paid for. I gladly pass them buy regularly and instead patronize the Chinese place next to State Brothers across the street, where the food is great and generously served, the prices are reasonable and the service is very professional.
Oh. J thought it was just MY FOOD that they habitually forgot to put in the bag EVERY SINGLE TIME I went there. I told the Mexican manager about the problem and he said it was my responsibility to make sure the food was all there. WTF! NO DIPSHIT...IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PUT THE FOOD IN THE BAG. I just tell my kids it is the only job they are "qualified" for and they can't even do that right. GO TO COLLEGE KIDS OR YOU WILL BE THE IDIOT WHO CANT PUT MANDARIN SAUCE AND EGG ROLLS IN A BAG! Ah ha ha!
