Your turn -- Sept. 3
Re: Sara Reid's Aug. 27 letter, "Motorists must yield," in which she said that in any lane that can't accommodate both a bicycle and a car, the bicyclist claims the lane: That already has caused problems and will continue to do so.

The city should build dedicated bike lanes that people can use to ride to work and other places. I don't mean a white stripe down the side of a street designed for cars. I mean bike paths separate from roads. Until then, bicyclers should yield the right of way. They should not slow down traffic. I say this as a dedicated bike rider.

Well, they're out there to get life force, haphazardly slung from angry drivers, aren't they?
Besides, roads were built for motorized vehicles able to attain higher speeds, no?
Of course, motorized vehicles were built to run on less expensive fuel, unfortunately, it's not too difficult to see who'll get the last laugh in this soap opera!
I hope I can share royalty when the movie version releases!!

I'll wait untill the weather decides to become something other than hell temperatures here in Texas to ride my bike and want my own lane.
