Helmetta has just above 1000 people and too many policemen.
This is a welfare program for them and borough’s workers.
They hide in bushes catching people for driving 25 miles/h because they must make more than $150 k per year. We must be stupid, they (blood suckers) smiling.

NYC has three cops for every thousand citizens and, as I'm sure the cop supporters here will claims, Helmetta is far more dangerous than NYC and needs nearly triple the relative manpower.

they have 3 cops. Also, if they hide in the bushes catching speeders, why is that a bad thing? Are you advocating speeding?

Also, the $150k you said they must raise, are you saying that pays their salary?

are the best and its a shame the way the city treats them financially. You just don't like police in general, as indicated in your post. I am sure the feeling is mutual, whatever city, town or boro, that continually comes in contact with you. Take care

Sorry you missed the sarcasm. I have the utmost respect for the NYPD, and have used the fact that EBPD cops are paid only $20,000 less than Ray Kelly to show how grossly overpaid local cops are relative to REAL cops.

No, I'd never diss the NYPD but, as a raped NJ taxpayer, I demand more of the overpaid, overfed and underworked meter maids in the suburbs.
you did disrepect them

you are so smart, just like the town you live in. Taxes are great here and so is quality of life. Rt. 18 is starting to look like 1 and 9 as you pass through Rahway

At least we can build a school for less than $90 million. Wait until THAT hits your taxes, and you'll wonder who rammed a pole up your a$$.

I think Helmetta police are the worst people I've ever encountered. I'm a nurse and took of a five year old boy with a heart condition. He lived in Monroe, I had a two door Acura RSX with tinted windows. And I had to drive the Main Street. Every week for 3 months they ticketed me. One day I had two officers pull me over. Also I was stopped for doing 28, are you serious. There beat and have nothing better to do. The whole municipal court is corrupt, the Mayor sucks. They're evil, They not only ticketed me, but my son and fiancee. And the one officer who got fired showed his true colors, because none of them follow the rules, its obvious

So that is 12 citations for tinted windows??? Did you also know that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”.
