<quoted text>Hey Pink Eye, glad you also got a breather from the GBurg forums also. Not much to talk about over there, except the "bump" in the road. okay, I think it's the Amish, they are really into their low key lifestyle. Trying to figure out why they won't go totally modern with all the electronic gadgets out there. Plus why is sauerkraut and applesauce always on the menu? One thing is for sure, love the gold lights, reminds ya of Ancient Egypt's love for gold. ROCK ON!
Three more pieces of the puzzle:
WPAFB
Plum Brook Station
NASA Glenn Research Center

Put the pieces together and you will have a general idea of UFO's in PA area.

Unfortunately, the U.S. government has been successful in their campaign to keep the whole concept of UFOs in such a state of taboo that most people don't even want to acknowledge the phenomenon. Part of the problem is that when people hear or read the term "UFO" they immediately think of extra terrestrial beings or intelligences.

The study of UFOs or, what are more commonly referred to these days as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, is simply an effort to determine the nature of sightings such as these. 95% of reported cases turn out to be explainable. The other five percent are either outside of our understanding of modern physics or just plain strange.

There are many countries that have government-established reporting systems and both military personnel and commercial pilots are required by law in many of these countries to report such incidents in the greatest detail possible. It's quite different here in the United States where anyone, especially military and commercial pilots, would be scrutinized and probably lose their credibility over such a report.

Kind of makes you wonder what's making the U.S. government so aloof about the subject.

If you're interested in a balanced look at the issue, there is a book called, "UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Officials Go On The Record" by Leslie Kean. She did her homework.
UFO just means that it's not able to idea by the FAA
