We don't already have around the clock police protection???

We already have the same tax rate as Bossier City, which is higher than Shreveport.

Are you serious? We don't have police protection after 2:00pm? Who will write the speeding tickets? Who will stop the robbers from taking over our town? What about the dope heads running around? Will we just publish to them and all of the other crooks, "We have no police protection, come and do whatever you want."?

Might I remind you that this country was founded by sound CHristian principles. Including the notion that we the people could bear arms to protect ourselves. I shall protect myself and my family...to the very last bullet!

Likewise, I will not be taxed without due representation. If you want to call yourself a town and tax me, then you better provide something for that tax.

We need 24 hour police protection w/new police force in Ringgold La..That is a horrilbe place to live and no one will help the people there it is dangerous,even the police will tell you not to go to gro store after dark... They are to scare or involved and want do a damn thing

And with the new truck stop looks like Sibley will get the taxes it needs for 24 hours protection. If not than we know monies are not going to the right place. Truck Stop should never be within the city limits of any town. It brings in to much traffic and the wrong people. So, Mr. Mayor shame on you. The only reason there are truck stops now are for the casino and nothing more.
