Just to give you some incite on this. There is more to this story than meets the eye. The testimony that was supposedly given was given not to a sheriffs deputy, it was given if you can call it that, to the LEAD investigator and the expert is their Primary expert in this case. Both of which testified in the grand jury about the same thing. The Investigator already knew the information because he is the one who presented it to the prosecutor to begin with, and the expert had to have testimony that was given by witnesses in regards to the size of the house and what was in each room to determine "load" for the fire.

He already knew the information because the investigator had given it to him, but he cross referenced it with the testimony of others to be sure. This was not about some secret information that got out that would effect the outcome of a case, this is about the prosecutor simply failing to ask the courts permission before doing so. Permission would have been granted because an investigation could not have been properly done without the expert having evidence, but they simply did not file a request for it. No smoking gun here, aside from a suspected murderer of 3 children being let out of jail without so much as a trial, on a TECHNICALITY. I can't believe people actually applaud this judge for supposedly doing the "right" thing when he did all the wrong things. We in america expect a fair trial, we don't expect or want an unfair advantage to be given to suspects over petty mistakes.

If the mistake was substantial then so be it, this one was not and the punishment does not fit the crime. The prosecution had their case thrown out for something that should have been a hand slap offense. 3 children died and this guy threw the case out without knowing ANY evidence. He said and I QUOTE. " I don't have time for this trial, I am getting married this summer" end quote. He said this IN COURT. This guy had an alternate agenda and is not fit to practice law in any capacity.

by the way mel,i was the one to sing at the kids funeral,amanda didn't even show up for the funeral in la,she had a friend come pick her up 1 hour before the it started.and she had no tears at all.

i remember times when i would see her,sadie and john at wal-mart and i would asked where jessie was and she would be in the car in the middle of summer time in la all by herself asleep with the doors locked.Tell me mel what kind of a mother would do that?Flint the father of jessica,and i have three children together,a 3year old,2 and a 4 month old and we do not leave them alone at all.

also,mel,they do have strong evidince against her,the money that she took out of my husbands bank account 30 min before she came home had gasaoline on it,so did the inside of the car,flint still hasn't gotten the money back yet because it is a big part in her killing the three kids.and yes i did say that she killed them.I am not judging i am just telling the truth.

How much money was gotten out lori? I personally have not heard of any proven gasoline that was found. Not that I doubt it, but I have not heard of it. Ive read things from people on here that claim she was a good mother, and it just makes me think that they obviously did not know Amanda. Amanda has never been a very stable person, and her kids were never anything more than tools for her to get things she wanted. I think she had begun to flip out, and started to think that the kids were more of a hinderance than anything. Kind of a mid life crisis for a young beautiful woman who was growing old and realized that she STILL was not happy, yet not she was older, on her third marriage, and had 3 kids. Not a very good catch to most men that she might have been looking to hook up with. Leaving her kids with someone else was not an option to her, that would only make her look like a bad mother, and she still had an image to keep up, which was just as important to her than anything. Having the kids suddenly be no more in an accident, was the best possible solution for her, and now it seems as though she may get away with ANOTHER travesty.

I would also like to know lori, what made flint call his other kids shortly after he found out, to quote scripture to them about kids being thrown into the fire for their sins. This seemed a little odd to me, even though nothing has really pointed to Flint like it has Amanda. He did not seem to have any emotion either when I saw him. I don't know how he is now, but in the hospital shortly after, it was as if nothing had happened. He also from what I know, was never all that good to Sadii or Luke, even though I know they weren't his children. They were both scared of him.

As far as Amanda leaving with a friend during the funeral. It was because she was at the police station, she nearly confessed that day from what I know. Her father nearly confessed for her because of the way she was acting. She was VERY lucky that day, she kept her composure long enough to not confess. Four years of her life gone, wasn't nearly enough. Ive known Amanda most of my life. Just as someone else said that there were no question in their mind if she did it, they knew she didn't. I feel the same way, except I'm not just some friend that knew her for a few years. I know her probably better than most. She used her lies on me more times than I can count. She is good at it. She thinks she is going to get away with it this time too.

3,500 DOLLARS WAS taken from the account.and the gas can was found that same day.i have been working with the state and they believe it will be any day now.and for flint calling his boys,he was trying to witness to them about the lord because if anything would of happened to them,they would of die without christ,since then,two of his boys have gotten saved.flint does have emotions,i know what you mean by him not acting like anything happened but he holds it all inside.We have been married for almost 5 years so i would know.he also loved sadie and luke as his own,so many times i have seen him bring all three kids to church with him while amanda would stay at home with a headache.which that was almost all the time.since the death,flint,me and his oldest son went 8 months later to west virgina to see the kids grave,he stood there and cried for 30 min.i have never seen him cry like that before.he would always talk about the hunting trips that him and luke would take.he loved them all please don't think that he didn't.

For a while I actually thought that maybe she had changed and was finally where she wanted to be. All the while she was still messed up in the head and moving closer and closer to falling apart like she did. If only I had known more at the time. The lawyer called me the other day and said that it is getting closer to the time to go to the supreme court.i believe in my heart that amanda gutweiler/hypes is guilty.So i hope that she is reading this because she deserves to die the way that she killed those three precious children.she needs to be tied up and put under a bed and lite on fire and let her scream "mommy" just like sadie did before she was burned alive.

Think about Amanda? are you serious!! you say you know her, but did you know she would always run around with different men while she was married to her first Husband? also she would take Sandii to a babysitters house for days at a time so she can go fuck around again with other men. I feel she is bipolar I think she killed her children. everyone is saying oh poor Amanda, has everyone forgotten about these children? and the fathers? I personally know one of them and he is heart broken still to this day he is not sure if he ever wants children again. Amanda took his child from him, and refused to give his child back for visitation. he doesn't even have pictures up of his child because he is so emotional. someone said on this post that when they were talking to Amanda she did not shred a tear, and here is one of the fathers who still 6 1/2 years later can't even hang a picture up because it is so hard to deal with this tragedy, not accident!!! and your telling me that Amanda is innocent. for everyone who says God will be doing the judgment, damn right! and when Amanda goes to judgment day where do you think she will go? just because her father is a minister does not mean she is a perfect child. that's all I have to say and everyone who will say "your wrong, you don't know her", well I sure in hell don't want to get to know or ever want to know her. she has an evil spirit inside her. and for anyone who knows her let her read this so she can see that some ppl know her true colors and not just an innocent person as she claims to be.

Does he cry for his children from his first marriage? I know he DOESN'T and HASN'T paid court ordered child support for the 3 boys the past 10 years. He could care less what happens to them and is in direct violation of the law. He purposely underemploys himself and hides beyond christianity. He should be under the jail, I don't know why he was not investigated along with Amanda. He has fooled alot of people. In my book he is a criminal and wouldn't put anything past him. He proclaims to be a servant of God, yet according to the Bible Timothy 5:8 " But if anyone does not provide for his own and especially for those of his household he has denied the faith and is WORSE than a NONBELIEVER".

Looks like she is heading back to La. To face her crimes. Ha Ha Ha. And I did know Amanda and I did know Sadii and Lukie. I spent a lot of time with them. I heard from their mouths how Amanda punished them, as well as the things she used to say to them. Amanda has always been crazy. I know for a fact!!!!!

Update: Amanda no longer lives in Mullens, she is now remarried and lives in Summersville, WV. Her last name is now Kelly. Good thing his two daughters stay away from her!!
