If you receive any kind of welfare benefits you should NOT receive an income tax return. I agree with them paying back what they've been given. I'm college educated, have 2 full time jobs & a family. My employer doesn't offer insurance, I can't afford a private policy, don't (& wouldn't want to) qualify for any state assistance & I have to PAY taxes every year. This country is bass ackwards to say the least!
I wonder why people on social security retirement can't get 2000.00 back in taxes we have worked over 45 years and my husband pays I.to social security madicare plus hospital insurance@ prescription insurance every month costing us about 350.0 0. A month . Sure would be nice to have that every year to help me get insurance and my Medicine. And don't forget about our deductible for it all which is usually the 1st 2 month's of the year. luckily we don't make over 32.000 a year or we would have to pay taxes on it

Not everybody who recieves a refund is a bumming moocher. And if you get social security then you get medicare, right, my ad gets social security and he gets medicare, his prescriptions are like 3 dollars and he doesn't have to pay for medicare. Thats why he paid in his whole life so that when you retire you have those benefits. Be glad you have insurance and stop whining.

If you worked and get disability, you've earned it !! What makes me mad is people that's never worked, young coming up with an excuse to leave for free. Have you heard some on the reasons people are handed a check? I'm in my 50s, in pain all the time but can't stop working because I am raising baby's I never had and can't afford to not work but I see people in their 20s and 30s setting back drawing a check. The state gives me a $150 dollars a month in foodstamps 'if I don't make to much money' but if the parent lived in the home and claimed the baby's she would get $690 dollars a month and never worked a day . The people that's worked their hole life has to fight for what they worked for.

. I hate to burst your bubble, but they take out 100.00 every month out of his s.s check every month for his Medicare . He also has to pay for a prescription plan every month so he has to pay a copay of .6$ for each of his scripts every month x 13,plus another 142.00 a month for his hospital part D. He was not one of the fortunate ones that get there's paid for by human services so no what your talking about before you start talking

. How right you are,if you haven't work much in your life then you get it free because because your social security isn't much to live on.an that's wh there is not going to be social security in a few years because we are paying for all the lazy butts that don't want to work an pay into there social security. So all the years I paid into ss will not be there when I can collect, but luckily my husband made sure I would be taken care of which he pays for every month

I know someone who doesn't work, gets several thousand dollars a month in benefits plus some extra for pocket money. He has 4 kids, mother of kids is disabled. They have a brand new car through a government program (an a replacememnt every 2 years) plus all repairs and insurance throught he same program. They usually take a little time out of town when they get their check at tax time what with the cheap flights to FL from here.

Ssi and social security are different they will pass a ssi check out to any bum including someone just getting out of prison. Social security is when you retire and have worked your whole life,

Its a parents job to take care of their kids, mine are not special needs amd I take care of them 100 percent. They should not be getting a check to take care of their special needs child,

It is a parents job to take care of their children, if the work and do their best and still need help I have no problem with that. But in my county 45 percent of children are being raised by grandparents, and that not counting the ones where the grandparents are keeping the kids and haven't went through the court systems. And in those cases the parent don't have the kids but still draw welfare for them.

first of all my me & my ex were completely finacially stable when we had both of our children!!!! he had surgery & got hooked on the pain pills afterwards & hasn't made anny attempt to get better, not mine or your fault but crap happens!! Second, why should my children be robbed of a normal childhood, nice home & food just because your bitter about our system? I work just as hard as you, just don't make as much money. maybe you should check into income guidelines in order to recieve assistance...household of 3 you make upto $3,200 a month. Thats not really poor sweetheart :) another thing, maybe you should into your state laws because in WV ANY child that doesn't have medical coverage is REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE COVERED BY MEDICAID, did a report on it in college, oh, yeah, I did go to college. I hope that you & your family doesn't become a victim to the decline in america & lose your jobs. Because then maybe, just maybe you would know how it felt. We had a 4 bedroom home in Ritter park, brand news cars..he had a suburban & I had an acura...so no I never would have dreamed to be in this situation. I didn't know he was gonna be a deadbeat, you cant really predict he would jack up his knees @ work & need surgery & then everything go down the tube. You are just a horrible excuse for a human being. I put my pants on the same way as you every morning sweetheart, & I bleed red just like you. But I bet your one of those that doesn't have any friends & is just bitter cause you work all the time & can't enjoy life. Get off your high horse & look & see what is goin on in your own backyard.
If you went to college why do u have a low paying job?? Cuz u just went to get school checks that u don't gotta pay back huh YUP! Stop making excuses and YOU SHOULD PROVIDE FOR YOUR KIDS have u no pride? I don't know about you, but I am fed up with hearing about welfare mongers getting giant tax refund checks. People who have a bunch of kids they can't afford and get assistance for should not get giant tax refunds. They should have to pay a portion back for the food stamps they gobble up and their kids medical cards if they recieved assistance that tax year. Why do people not on welfare, foodstamps, medicaid, have to pay for people who are then as a bonus we shower them with a huge refund check every February? The system is broken and needs to be fixed. We reward people for making terrible descisions in this country and penalize the ones that try to do things for themselves without aid from the federal and state government.

For one, I'm a single hard working mother of 2, yes, I do get assistance only because their dad doesn't give ANY kind of support. It is a huge help to get that assistance!! Trust me, I had to suck up my pride to even go apply. As far as the giant refund checks, the more you make the more you get back....& I use all of that to pay bills, home improvement, take my kids on vacation & make sure they have money put back for their college. So...please take into consideration the mothers who do work hard & have just been a victim to a ridiculous divorce & not being in the best area to be "prosperous". Not all "good" employers are kid friendly, they don't understand if you have a sick child or if their is a 2 hour delay in school, you are still required to be @ work, so some of us have to settle for a less paying job to get a break. That is a very close minded statement & its very offending to people like myself.
get the money from their dead beat father. you f*ck'd him not us.....so don't f*ck the taxpayers!

My problem is that just like someone that was in my own family, They had three baby's, live in state housing,$25 a month, I paid the rent, supported the kids, he would work just enough to file taxes, most of the time I had the baby's and they would get back 6 to 7 thousand a yr, And the kids were lucky to get a hundred dollars spent on them. I believe if you live in goverment housing that a big enough break and the tax refund for those children should be claimed by the state.
. Back in the 70s in the state of new York, you didn't get your income tax check it went to the state if you got any assistants at all. Do not no if is still like that now. But that was there way of having to pay it back

Let me say this, I'm raising three grand babies, I work and claim 9 just to be able to support and pay the bills, last year claiming the babies I got back $200. back,
When you say you "claim 9," are you sayig you out that on your withholding forms so you don't get very much tax withheld from your check? If so, that's why you got nothing back - you already got your "refund" throughout the year by claiming 9 people you didn't really have in your household.

I think you're all a bunch of wining little babies. You all make me sick. I think I'll come to your houses tonight and stare at you while you sleep. Maybe I'll raid your fridge and eat all your leftovers. Then you'll really have a reason to cry, won't you you little titty sucking babies. Why don't you all do something more productive with your time like raiding an adult video store. That's what I like to do when I get mad about our national issues. I watch porn. CRY BABIES
