I love my second amendment right, as well. I also have many family members who fought not only for MY rights but for the rights of ALL Americans, including the ones which the freedoms they fought for afforded them the right to a different opinion than myself. Such as you and the other hypocritical and fanatical "Christians" on this thread. However, I have trouble believing many of our (meaning American, not YOU or I) ancestors would have given their life protecting America's freedoms and rights if they had known at the time what many people today are doing by ABUSING those freedoms and rights. For example, I highly doubt the Christian soldiers that have died protecting ALL rights, including freedom or religion and freedom of speech, if they had known organizations such as Westboro Baptist "Church" would combine and ABUSE those rights to protest the very people that fought and are still fighting to protect the freedoms that allow them do as such. Yet again, freedom of religion has not been altered in ANY way. ANY child has the option to pray in accordance to any faith wherever and whenever they choose. This does not translate to Christians having the right to FORCE the observance of their religion or religious practices on others of different beliefs regardless of how small or how large that population amounts.<quoted text>As for my second amendment, I do love my second amendment. I own a lot of guns including riffles.
I am an American! I make mistakes, I am opinionated, I have lost many family members who fought for my rights to be so.
Desperation of church...
The only "desperation" of church is that of fanatical Christians attempting to use any argument they can come up with (albeit, thankfully, unsuccessful at such) to claim SEPARATION of church and state isn't a just cause to have school led prayers banned.
