Who owns Subway in Waterloo?

I was just there and bought $30 worth of food. A blonde girl that was working, and i cannot give you her name because she informed me that she did not have to tell me even her first name, heard me ask for a kids meal and made up a 6 inch instead of a 4 inch and tried to demand that i pay for the 6 inch. At any rate, she would not give me the owners name nor the manager's name. She also called me an cheapskate ass and told me to get out of HER store. Fortunately, there was a very polite, pregnant girl working with her that helped me with my problem. I know from restaurant work experience that you MUST at least give your first name when a customer asks for it.

Also, throughout the last 3 months or so, I have had HUGE problems with this place TRYING to over-charge my 11 year old daughter. I have gone up there to talk to someone about it and they all denied her even being there. That's funny, cause my daughter always came back with subway food. I know that 1 kids meal does not cost $7 and the last time i had her bring me the reciept. After my daughter had already paid for her food, she asked for the reciept and they ended up giving her $3 back because they claimed they had made a "mistake."

Anyway, I am on a mission to find the owner's name. If anyone knows, please let me know as i would really like to talk to them about the situation. thank you

Why don't you just call up there and ask to talk to the manager?? Make note of the person's name that answers the phone and if you think it's the same girl that was rude to you before then you have something to go on.
Personally I'm not impressed with the girls that work there either. Most are rude and treat you like you are stupid if you don't know exactly what you want the second you walk through the door.

The same people own the Subway in Red Bud, I have been told. You might get better info calling there.

My husband tried that and was told there was not a manager at that store. He also asked who he was speaking to and the girl said " i work here." he asked,"well what's your name?" she answered," subway worker." Is it just good business to tell someone your name when asked on the job, or is it actually a law? Also, it seems strange to me that the workers don't wear nametags, as that was the first thing i looked for.

There is no law requiring anyone to give their name. I wonder, what could someone do if they continue to get bad service at a business? Hmmm.... what options do we have if we think a business is trying to rip us off? Hmmmm..... well I'm stymied. I can't think of ANY options in this case.

The new subway girls in Waterloo are always so rude. I've been eating there for years and before the restaurant went under new ownership it was never like this. I forgot the name of the old owner she was an oriental woman, she was always really friendly. I don't know if it's because i'm a regular or what but the manager and employees cuss in front of me all the time. One time I was so irritated by their attitudes I e-mailed Subway and complained. They apologized and said they would notify the owner of the restaurant and that was the last I ever heard of it.

The new owner of Subway is just as rude and is a teacher for Zahnow. Huggins . I don't go there anymore the workers are a joke GO TO Quizno's forget them mabe the owner will get a clue once they don't do anymore biz.... Good luck report them to BBB!

Call corporate. I believe the old owners also owned the Subway in Chester. Couldn't tell you who owns it now. Call the County Clerks office and ask them, or check the business section of the Secretary of State's website.

It kills me when I go in there sometimes and hear their conversations while waiting on customers or some of the things they will do. Sometimes one of the employees will stand behind the counter by the cash register and eat food from other restaurants while people are waiting in line. I saw one walking around barefoot back there one time. Once they were all having a conversation about beating someone up. If you have a question that they find the least bit stupid they roll their eyes at you, sigh loudly. The day shift manager makes sandwiches so fast that she just slops them together and puts no effort into it whatsoever. I may just stop going to Subway altogether... they don't even have a frequent dining program anymore. Remember the cards with the stamps? The new manager apparantly didn't like the idea of giving away a free sandwich once in awhile and scrapped the whole thing.

so to the lady named unome2 i was a customer in there the day you were in there with the two young ladies working and i just wanted to say that you were completely out of control. the reason the blonde girl was so confused is because you got her mixed up with another blonde girl that worked there. you wont get any sympathy from anyone because you blew thisout of proportion and i personally know that she did not call you a cheepskate ass and she did not ask you to leave the store until you bagan to yell andcuss at her which by the way i was in there with my daughter and i did not appreciate her hearing you cuss and yell uncontrollably.

the owner's name is eric huggins, and i was told that by one of the subway employees so i have no idea who you people are talking to when you go there. the girls working were really polite and helpful, i go in there all the time with some friends of mine and we always get excellent service. maybe if some of you stopped being rude to the employees there, they'd stop being rude back to all of you. i know i would not be very kind to someone who was yelling and cussing at me, especially in the case of mistaken identity. if someone has a problem with one of the workers then call corporate, but don't lie on a forum. you know they do have camera's with sound, there's even a sign on the door that says so.
