You know, it seems to me that if that house belonged to one of the founding fathers of Hebron, the Town would be falling over itself to restore it to glory. Because it was owned by "a slave couple" does that make it less important? I am an educated white woman who values our nation's history, where ever it leads. This house is part of that history and I feel ashamed for the Town of Hebron that they would sell off a part of their history for their thirty pieces of silver! Shame on them!
